Will support the operations of the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex Hopkinsville and/or assist with various athletic events. Greet visitors, direct participants, and/or assist with athletic events in a variety of sports. Receive customer orders, prepare beverages & food, and calculate/receive payments for concession items. Requires a minimum of a 10th grade level education and interest/experience in related athletic or sporting events. Available shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Must be a KY certified Police Officer or approved by the Department of Criminal Justice for transferable out-of-state police certification credentials. Work schedule based on 10-hour shifts with every other weekend off and vehicle take home policy offered. Requires a high degree of skill in operation of light and heavy-duty mechanized equipment. Preferred experience in construction and/or experience in pouring & finishing of concrete curbs & sidewalks and various masonry & carpentry work. Commercial Driver’s License preferred but must obtain within probationary period for this full-time position.

$39,832 - $44,501 salary range

Operate multi-line phone system, answer 911 emergency telephone calls, and dispatch calls to responding field units. Must have high school diploma or equivalent, be 18 years of age or older, type 35 WPM, possess strong verbal/written skills, & multi-task in a high stress environment. Applicants are subject to a background investigation, suitability screening test, polygraph, drug test and successfully complete a 4-week training course at the Dept. of Criminal Justice Training/Eastern KY University in Richmond, KY. Prior public safety training/experience desired.
