| DON FELDER COULD HIT THE HIGH NOTES Unbelievable!!! I almost collapsed out of my chair eating lunch when I turned on DONs CD full blast. What a Rocker and hes got the range. To be honest I think other musicians are just jealous of DON FELDERs Talent. Let me congratulate you Don for this "Too good to be true" album. | NEW EAGLEs like ROCK ! Great guitar rock, solid lyrics, Felder still has the easy Claifornia Eagles sound. Coupla songs are wasted efforts, but overall excellent adult sounding FUN! By zmjk (las Vegas)  Review is for a different format. |

By the age of fourteen he was hitchhiking from his home in Kansas to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ashley Raines grew up in the Midwest and began running away from home almost as early as he could walk. He taught himself any instrument he could get his hands on, recorded his songs on four-track reel-to-reel machines, which he sold while performing on the street and occasionally picked up work as a farm hand.

Ginny began her career in Canada placing five hits into Canada's top 40 shortly after starting her recording career, which brought her talent to the attention of an entire nation. She recorded in Nashville with her friend and producer, Mark Schatz. The "Wild Rose" cd is a a reflection of Ginny's influences- Gordon Lightfoot, Merle Haggard and Claire Lynch.
Mark Schatz called some of his friends in on the sessions : Bela Fleck, Wyatt Rice, Alison Krauss, Jerry Douglas, John Jorgenson and Mark O'Connor. Ginny Mitchell's newest CD is packed with Americana/Folk gems. She also includes quiet versions of jazz standards, "Stardust" and "Wish Upon a Star". This is a departure from a country/bluegrass project, because Ginny stretches out to include rock favorites by the Cure and the Rolling Stones (although this is done in bluegrass styling). With self-penned tunes "Miss you Boy" and "Ed and Alice" Ginny establishes herself as a talented songwriter as well as the award winning singer we've known her to be.
She is joined on this CD by Nina Gerber on Guitar, John Knowles (Chet Atkins favorite guitar player), Tiran Porter on bass (Doobie Brothers fame) and Barry Phillips on cello (George Harrison). The people in Ginny's hometown of Santa Cruz were well aware of their music though, because Ginny and her friends had a daily diet of it on KFAT radio.
Now Ginny has returned to her music career full time and is enjoying the fruits of her labors. This was when nobody knew their names and they had just arrived in town.
