! Clinched Patriot League regular-season title and No. 1 seed in the League championship

Patriot League Tiebreaking Procedures
Non-League contests completed before the Monday prior to the Championship will be included in the tiebreaker formula, if necessary. Any non-League contest played on or after the Monday prior to the start of the Championship will not be included in the tiebreaker formula.

TWO-WAY TIES
1. In the case of a two-way tie between teams in the final standings for regular-season League play, the following process will be used until all ties are broken and the seeding process is completed (ties will be broken in rank order beginning with the highest seed):

A. Head-to-head competition — the higher seed will go to the team that has won the most League contests played against the other team involved in the tie.

B. If a tie still exists, a comparison of records will be made between the tied institutions starting at the highest possible seed and continuing through the lowest seed, if necessary. NOTE: The two teams involved in the tie must play at least one game against a team for comparison purposes. If not, the process will continue to the next team down the standings.

C. Sport-specific tie-breaking procedure, if any (see Sport-Specific regulations below).

D. Comparison of winning percentages versus out-of-League common opponents.

E. Coin flip.

MULTI-TEAM TIES
2. In the case of multiple ties (more than two teams tied for the same spot), the following process will be used: [Note: The entire process for multiple-team ties must be completed. The Patriot League does not revert to the two-way tie formula once the multiple-team tie has been resolved.]

A. Winning percentage between the tied teams will be evaluated to determine if one team has a higher winning percentage within the group of tied teams, given that each team within the tie has played at least once.

B. If a tie still exists, a comparison of records will be conducted for each team involved starting with the highest seed not involved in the tie and continuing through the lowest seed, if necessary. NOTE: The teams involved in the tie must play at least one game against a team for comparison purposes. If not, the process will continue to the next team down the standings.

C. Sport-specific tie-breaking procedure, if any (see Sport-Specific regulations).

D. Comparison of winning percentage versus out-of-League common opponents.

E. Coin flip (two teams) or draw (multiple teams).

Below is the basketball sport-specific tie-breaking procedure, if applicable:

Basketball Specific Tiebreaker:
a. NCAA Men's Basketball NET Rankings (NCAA.com) published on the day (or the next day that a report is available, if warranted) following the final regular-season League game to determine the higher-seeded team. The team with the higher NET will receive the higher seed.
