Parma leads the list of Italian restaurants in Metro Denver. The menu is vast and diverse. Traditional Italian dishes such as pastas, pizzas, salads, meat, poultry and seafood abound in various styles. The cheeses are all lactose free; a couple are made in house and the others are imported directly from Rome and Naples. The chefs always prepare unique daily specials that will surel y exceed your expectations. Take out orders are always welcome and gluten-free items are available upon request. We have a lovely outdoor patio for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner. Our Happy Hour offers great deals on food and drink. Parma Trattorias philosophy is to use organic ingredients from local farmers, and green, unaltered products whenever possible. Famous for our fresh mozzarella bar where you can mix and match cheeses and condiments. There is no other Italian restaurant in the area that specializes in the yummy food you will find at Parma. Come and visit us we know you will not be disappointed!

Anyone know what's in the non-house made pastas? Have a few dietary restrictions so I'd love to know!
A:
Call and ask them. We had bad allergies in our party and they were very helpful.

This is such a gem in the area. Great Italian food an it's not super $$$ like other ones in Denver.
Good bread, pasta, sauces, and service. Recommended for sure.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could.
Our service and some of the food was underwhelming.
The complimentary bread and dip was great. The menu is large with lots to choose from. The Frittura di Pesce (seafood mix calamari) 5/5. The Linguine Scampi was disappointing 2/5, the "jumbo shrimp" was more like large shrimp and didn't have much flavor with a more watery sauce compared to other places we've had. The sauce of the Farfalle Mare e Monti was really good, but scallops were under seasoned and bland.
Our service was mediocre. As I was ordering, she had already taken the menus so I was going based off memory and she cut me off but seemed to understand what we wanted. After she left we did question if she got the correct order. It took a long time for her to check on us so we could ask for a check. We ended up waving down another waiter to get us Togo boxes. When she came back to the table she was very quick to clean up the entire table before I could even finish asking for the check. It was close to closing but there were plenty of people just getting their food. We definitely felt rushed out of there and a burden.
Overall I would be willing to try again but with less high of expectations.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Kelly,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review to provide us with positive feedback and constructive criticism.
I am so sorry that you had this experience at our restaurant the other night. We certainly never want our guests to feel that we are trying to push them out or rush them to finish. I apologize that you didn't receive top level service and had to ask a different server to help you out. I promise you that normally doesn't happen here. And if your dish is ever unsatisfactory, please let us know - we are always happy to remake it or make something else for you. We definitely don't want guests to eat something that they don't enjoy.
We look forward to exceeding your expectations next time you give us a visit! - Dec 12, 2023
Welcome weary traveler... please sit down, let me tell you a tale of enormous flavor.
Parma, located in the heart of Louisville, Colorado may seem like a meager establishment, but that is the furthest from the truth! Buckle your safety restraints and hold on tight riders cuz you're about to blasted into flavortown at MACH 4!!
The menu at Parma is absolute fire, literally... the pizzas here are exceptionally good, but the pasta is WOW-ZERS.
My go to is the Vodka Gnocchi. They hand-make these in house and they are simply fantastic but the shining hero of this dish is the homemade vodka sauce. I tend to consider myself as what some would call "a foodie" so when I say that Parma's vodka sauce is one of the best I've ever had, I mean it. It's hands down one of the absolute best, as proven by 2023's Best in Boulder voting. They also have this available in the Penne Tri-color (as pictured)
Parma is absolutely stellar for date night as they have a WIDE range of wines on call. What's a great way to break the ice on that first date? A nice glass of wine, and a GREAT APPETIZER! Suggestion: the calamari or the bruschetta! Easy to share and a great portion with both! The bruschetta is a great mix of crunchy outer crust, and full fluffy interior with a pleasant blend of tomatoes, basil, and balsamic glaze.
But don't take my simple typed-out words for it, go try it yourself, and make sure to strike up a conversation with the owner responsible for the culinary wizardry found there! Happy eating friendsHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Terrific restaurant. All of the food was delicious. We had a party of 42 people. The restaurant handled us with ease. all the all of the food coming out at the same time. The staff was proactive and I've never seen a waitress handle 42 people so easily. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to the Louisville area.

Recently had an opportunity to try Parma for a dinner during the week. I was excited to try this spot as I've heard so many good things about them for many years. This is a spot that is busy every time I've been by and definitely what I experienced for the recent dinner here.
For the food, I was very happy to have the opportunity for veal Parmesan for dinner. The veal was good, not as thin as I'm used to and I'd like a batter on the fry that is a little more crunchy but it was still very good. I did opt for red sauce with the pasta instead of Alfredo. I personally don't think it needs pasta, the veal was better and I think the pasta diminished the value of the dish. The bolognese was definitely a bolognese but I think it wasn't a long term cook because the flavors didn't explode like I'd want a good bolognese to do.
The "oil" I think is what surprised me the most. The bread is warm and delicious but I expected an olive oil but I'm not mad at this! It's like an olive cream. I'm sure Parma has a name for it but I did think it was delicious just very thrown by the texture at first. I did feel a bit like a burden to the staff because of how busy they were, we moved quickly in and out of the restaurant both because of the speed of movement from staff but also how quick the food came out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

My group thoroughly enjoyed our experience; I was on the verge of checking 5 stars, next visit. On this particular night our server was Claudio, who is a character. We got great service and enjoyed our evening with him.
You will get table bread, which is delicious, especially when you smoother it in the sauce that they handmake onsite. The setting is nice, they also have a tented area off the back.
Our table started with the Panzarotti (Mozzarella stuffed Breaded Ravioli, Marinara Sauce) which was delicious. We also enjoyed the Cavolini (Sautéed Brussel Sprouts, White Wine Sauce, Parmesan). The appetizers each deserved a 'B+' grade.
Being that we were all family I got a taste of everything, and I really liked EVERYTHING. I've read some negative reviews on the red sauce, which I thought was OKAY. It does have a unique taste, which might not appeal to everyone. I had the Salciccia Gnocchi with said red sauce (Sausage, Tomato Basil Sauce, Mozzarella) which I thought was very good, 'B+' grade. Someone at our table had the Bolognese Gnocchi (Meat Sauce, San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Parmesan Cheese), which was also a solid 'B+' The portions are plentiful, we had Gnocchi for lunch the next day.
My wife had the show stealer as far as my pallet was concerned, the Zucca Raviloi (Butternut Squash & Amaretti Cookie Crumbles, Butter Sage Sauce) which got an 'A' grade on my food scale.
My cousin had the Spaghetti Carbonar (Pancetta, Shallots, Black Pepper, Egg Yolk, Cream) which is super rich, but also pulled an 'A' grade, while her husband had the Pappardelle Bolognese (Meat Sauce, San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Parmesan Cheese) which I'd give a 'B+' grade.
Our table enjoyed our night out, food and service were all on point. When you come here, prepare to manga-manga!Helpful 15Thanks 2Love this 15Oh no 0Business owner information

We got the gnocchi which was really nice but could of had a bit more flavor in the pesto sauce (kinda blan) and the Chicken parm. The chicken was really good but there was almost no sauce which left it and the noodles it sat on very dry. Service was excellent and the bread and pesto sauce they bring out was really good.

Sorry about the gnocchi, the pasta on the chicken we can always give extra sauce for your taste. Maybe we could have more than 2 starts i feel that’s pretty low but hopefully we can win you over next time around .
Thank you so much,

Came here for a group dinner.
We brought a group of 25 people after a leader training and had a great experience.
They offered us an abbreviated menu with a perfect cross section of options. Meatballs. Shrimp scampi. Chicken parmigiana along with two other dishes. Everything looked amazing and HUGE portions.
I had the scampi and the garlic was on point.
The meatballs were massive and everyone loved them and the chicken parmigiana was easily two portions.
We had bread baskets and three salads options to start with recommended wine pairings which went well. We kept it to beer and wine for the group and that was easily managed.
Service was great and food came out in a reasonable time. It took three people to shuttle everything out to the table. The restaurant was very busy and they still kept things moving along well.
For 25 people, food and drinks we were about $1900 all in. A little heavy on the booze but a nice experience and we will be back again for sure.
Right off the Superior/Louisville exit, it was easy to find with plenty of parking.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1Business owner information

Food was incredible! You can't go wrong with the homemade pasta! Service was great. Plenty of seating inside and they have a heated patio. It was packed when we went on a Saturday night. Love this local restaurant in Louisville!
