“I was very young and have no real memory, just the tales my family shares with me about that time of my life, but it must have impacted me as I have read and studied all things paranormal growing up. Dave began his schooling in his hometown at Medinah South Elementary and pursued a high school education at Lake Park High School. Growing up Dave was passionate about hosting and grew up pretending to be on radio a career which came to fruition later in his life. He left his hometown for Minnesota in 1988 and has been a resident there ever since. He attended Winona State University.

While Dave spent his early career in sales he was fascinated by the idea that there could be life after death. Dave religiously studied anything he could find on the internet about the paranormal. Dave started Darkness Radio on Jan 1, 2006, with co-host Tim Dennis, which grew into a widely popular radio show. Established with the three-fold mission, Enlighten, Educate, and Entertain, the program later moved to the KTLK network and has been stationed with them ever since. He then became a regular fill-in host for George Noory on Coast to Coast AM which is heard worldwide by millions of listeners.
