2023 Global Year for Integrative Pain Care

Welcome to the 2023 Global Year for Integrative Pain Care. This year's theme aims to raise awareness about integrative pain care and illustrate the knowns and unknowns of this important topic via different initiatives, including a fact sheet series and several webinars.

IASP Remembers Ronald Dubner, DDS, PhD

Ronald Dubner, DDS, PhD

12 October 1934 – 22 January 2023

Ronald Dubner, DDS, PhD, passed away in Bethesda, Maryland on 22 January 2023. Ron pioneered orofacial pain research during his years at the National Institutes of Health and the University of Maryland. He was a past Editor-in-Chief of PAIN, past IASP Councilor and a colleague and mentor to many IASP members. His passing represents a momentous loss to the pain field in general, and to the orofacial pain field specifically. He will be greatly missed.
