This is another village which was not completely destroyed during the Second World War but it is a village which has been plagued by several floods which are indicated, by date, along the sides of various buildings. Our volunteer guide was truly amazing as she walked us through her town and completed the tour by giving us a very comprehensive history of the Jewish people. Because our visit was on a holiday, most shops and attractions were not open but the walk was still well worth it.

This outlet was one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen so far.
Great design, beautiful stores, love for details in every corner!
All of the staff I met were outstandingly friendly and helpful!
Special thanks to the two ladies at the Kate Spade store! You really made Shopping turn into an experience.

The location and everything was great and I surely will come again!

Wertheim Village looks really attractive from the out and inside. Parking enough, no worries. There are a lot of outlet stores. Just make up your mind before you start walking. We had no plan and as a result, we ended up everywhere :-). There's for everyone something to find. But as usual it is good to know upfront what High Street prices are before buying.

This is about an hour’s drive from Frankfurt main station. The best way of getting is to book a return seat with FlixBus which departs at 11.15 from the main station. You can return using the bus at 17.45 or 18.45.

If you are expecting big discounts, then you are more likely to be disappointed. Discount range from 20-30% from the original price. There is also no big brand names like Gucci, Prada, and the likes.

I did manage to find some good bargains in Lululemon and Birkenstock. I would have bought a lot more if sizing is not an issue.

So whether to

Frankfurt is basically a city and shopping seems like the natural activity to include while we are there.
We took a bus from Frankfurt main station and waited near the bus stop next to Burger king. The return journey costs 10 euro. They run 2 trips to/fro the village; 9.30am and 1.30pm from main station and 3.30pm and 7.30pm from the village. The journey takes 1 hour. Thus, the logic shopper will depart at 9.30am and leave the village at 7.30pm.

The village is big and has many shops to offer. There is free wifi available in the full premises. Thus, it is good that you can share messages with the family/friends if you need to buy items for them.

Maybe I was lucky, I was there in July and the whole Europe seems to be having sale. The sales at the village is even better. Managed to grab bags of shoes, bags and clothes. You can get your Lindt's chocolate at the village at a discounted rate as well. After shopping, I had my dinner at the village before taking the coach that departs at 7.30pm from the village.

If you are a shopping person, don't miss out the bargains that this place has got to offer.

I think there's a reason to go there is to buy for example watch with a really good discount. Can't say that I was impressed by the stores quantity or the choice of brands. In my opinion, its still expensive there so maybe it is worth to visit Wertheim village in the sales period when even outlet prices go down.

We really enjoy our shopping experience in this outlet. It's around 1:15h from frankfurt.
You can go there by bus that move from Frankfurt main station at 9:00 am and last bus leave the outlet at 7:30pm. When you arrive first you have to go to the information disk to ask about the offers , don't miss a cup of hot chocolate from lindt shop.

Our ship docked by Wertheim and we explored the tiny town that has played a strategic role at the confluence of the Main and Tauber Rivers. We experienced this quaint village that is squeezed into a narrow triangle in the shadow of Wertheim Castle, strolling beneath its red sandstone towers and fortifications that mark your progress from their perch, striking a dramatic pose against the lush hillside forest. Wertheim was founded in the 7th century. The first settlement was a town called Kreuzwertheim on the right bank of the Main River. The Counts of Wertheim built a castle on the left bank of the river Main and a settlement developed at the foot of this dominating structure that was called Wertheim. It was mentioned for the first time in 779. During our walk we saw the Pointed Tower with its round bottom and octagonal top, noting that for over 800 years it has tilted to one side. Then on among beautifully restored half-timbered houses built in Franconian style to the historic marketplace, passing a bakery and butcher shop where we stopped after our tour to learn more about the importance of these professions to German tradition.

All brands gathered in a wonderful shopping mall. The whole village has beautiful stores, with specific local architecture - each store looks like house. One should visit it.

The most convenient way to get to Wertheim Village is of course via the shopping express service. It is usually 20€ for a return journey from Frankfurt Main Hbf but if you have a German Rail Pass, you can go for free.

The journey takes slightly more than an hour each way. There are a lot of shops but there are not many popular brands there, so do check out if you are interested in those brands before deciding to go.

I find that though it is a shopping outlet, prices need not necessarily be lower than at major shopping malls like Karstadt or Galeria. You need to know the prices before buying.

Food options are decent. I guess if you have a German Rail Pass, it would be worth going. Else, I am not sure if you can get savings worth 20€ on your purchases, which is the price of the journey there.
