Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have broken up after nine months of dating, with an insider telling Page Six the pair “have decided to just be friends” and that “the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
Another source told us the duo’s age difference of 13 years caused the split, saying that between Davidson’s “spontaneous and impulsive” personality and Kardashian’s devotion to her four children, “they are just in very different places at the moment.”
The two stars met when Kardashian hosted “SNL” in October 2021, mere months after filing for divorce from Kanye West. Wardrobe-wise, she was at a crossroads at the time, without her ex to serve as her personal stylist, and was in the process of swapping her Yeezy neutrals and Balmain glitz for a “future alien Barbie” aesthetic.
At the same time, Davidson was making waves for his so-called “scumbro” look, heavy on pricey streetwear styled in an intentionally scuzzy manner.
But as they say, opposites attract — and over the course of their courtship, the twosome showed off their couple style on red carpets and Instagram snaps aplenty. Here, their best fashion moments together.

The couple graced their first carpet together at the 2022 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, with Kardashian sparkling in silver Balenciaga and Lorraine Schwartz jewels while Davidson teamed his black Dior suit and skinny tie with Vans sneakers.

Kardashian dominated headlines during the 2022 Met Gala by showing up in the exact shimmering nude gown Marilyn Monroe wore to sing “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to John F. Kennedy at Madison Square Garden in 1962.
Since the historic garment couldn’t be altered, the star dropped 16 pounds in just three weeks to ensure it fit — a choice that sparked backlash, as did post-gala photos of the gown with signs of damage allegedly caused by Kardashian. (Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, which loaned out the look, denies it was harmed during the outing.)
Far less controversial was the dapper Dior tux Davidson wore with matching sunglasses and a diamond-studded Rolex to help Kardashian up the Met steps in the delicate dress.
