RRR box office collection Day 8: Jr NTR, Ram Charan's film continues to reign supreme

Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR has shattered records and emerged as a blockbuster. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the epic war drama hit the theatres on March 25.

RRR has been roaring in theatres worldwide. A directorial venture of SS Rajamouli, the film features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. RRR’s box office collection has been phenomenal and it’s clear that the film is here to stay.

RRR: DAY 8 COLLECTION

RRR is a rage not just in India, but overseas as well. In fact, the Ram Charan and Jr NTR-starrer became the first-ever Indian film to cross $3 million USD (Rs 22 crore approximately) from US premiere shows. Now, the film has entered second week of theatrical run.

Trade expert Ramesh Bala gave an insight into its box office collection and wrote, “#RRR enters 2nd week on a strong note..#RRR Hindi done about 13 Crs Nett for 2nd Friday (sic).”

RRR crossed the Rs 700 crore mark worldwide in its first week.

ABOUT RRR

Set in the 1920s, RRR follows the formative years of freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan, respectively. The fictional war drama features an ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani.
