It feels like it has been over 100 years since the last James Bond movie came out, and many Netflix subscribers are curious to learn if the highly anticipated 007 movie, No Time to Die, will be making its way to the streaming service at some point down the line.

The 25th James Bond film has been a long time in the making and, after several delays, is poised to finally make its big debut on October 8, 2021. Directed by True Detective and Maniac helmer Cari Joji Fukunaga, the No Time to Die film will see Daniel Craig reprise the role for the final time.

Along with Craig, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Christoph Waltz, Rory Kinnear, Ralph Fiennes, and Jeffrey Wright all reprise their roles from previous films in the Craig-era of the franchise. Joining the cast for No Time to Die is a talented bunch, including Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, David Dencik, and Dali Benssalah.

Ever since Casino Royale, this version of the iconic super spy has been on one wild ride throughout his adventures in Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre leading to the final chapter of his saga in the highly anticipated Bond movie No Time to Die. It’s no surprise people with a subscription to Netflix are wondering if they’ll get to see the upcoming motion picture about the double 0 agent with a license to kill.

Will the James Bond movie No Time to Die be on Netflix?

Before everyone starts ordering vodka martinis, shaken and not stirred, to celebrate, they should know the latest secret mission from Bond isn’t going down on the streamer. No Time to Die will be heading to theaters, and there are no immediate plans for it to stream on Netflix after its big-screen run is over.

There were reports that Netflix was offered No Time to Die to stream directly on their platform. Unfortunately, the streaming powerhouse didn’t think the $600 million price tag was worth it, so they passed on the entire ordeal. Instead, they opted to pay over $400 million for sequels to Knives Out, which is a Clue-esque endeavor starring Craig, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Fans should not be upset by this news. There are plenty of great action flicks to enjoy on the streamer. Some of their exceptional options include The Old Guard, Extraction, and 6 Underground, just to name a few.
