First off I would like to congratulate everyone for making it this far. I would like to thank my classmates, my friends, and my family. I especially want to thank our teachers, for always supporting and encouraging us. If it weren’t for the people who support us daily, we would not be where we are today. I would like everyone to turn to their families, and teachers to thank them for all that they have done for us. We walked in as sixth graders, nervous and scared about what was going to happen next but, time flew by and now we are almost finished eighth grade. Now we walk with confidence, knowing what it is that we would like to achieve. As we leave today, we will be starting a new journey as a Viking, but a part of Patapsco will remain with us for the rest of our lives. Middle school was a journey that allowed us to figure out who we are and allow us to mature a little. Growing up doesn’t mean that we cannot act like kids.Someone once said, “Age doesn't define maturity. Some people will never grow up.” There is always a part of us that will remain childish, and in some cases bring joy to the entire community. Going to high school will shed light on our maturity, while allowing us to stay a bit childish at the same time. Some of us have matured a little more than others.
