We toured the Frankfurt Hauptfriedhof with Jo last weekend. Although I've lived in Frankfurt all my life I loved to explore and find all kind of new aspects of the main cemetery. She is very knowledgeble, has a great way of showing you around and shares her personal insights.
The Hauptfriedhof is absolutely worth a visit - anytime of the year with avery peaceful, silent and even historic atmosphere. Jo shows a perfect mix of overview and many small detailed views of the place. Great to see and learn so much through her eyes. We'd certainly recommend you take this tour, next time she offers it.

This tour is basically all I could fit into my short 6-hour trip through Frankfurt, and thanks to Dave I loved the city with all my heart! Very enthusiastic, very informative, very witty, a special on-the-go approach to every attendant. A+ tour!

I actually went in June 2011 - just now writing my review...I still talk about it, as it was very informative. Our guide was Hondo - he was entertaining, not a boring talker. There is so much history that the time passes by quickly. My teenage son also enjoyed the tour. We did stop at a market for some quick shopping or small bite to eat and we did stop at places with bathroom facilities when needed. So, it's not an exhausting 3 hour walk, it's a nice pace with breaks and rests, full of information and points of interest.
