    Amazing and so big!
We visited Central Park a number of times during our Easter stay and realised just how massive it is. We explored the southern end a few times and it has so many different parts to it. We took a subway to visit the upper part including reservoir. Such contrast to the rest of the city

    April Cherry Blossoms
I went in early April and most of the cherry blossoms were at full bloom and incredibly beautiful. It was my first time in NYC and I decided to reserve a full day to Central Park as it's huge and I wanted to see most of the highlights. I had about 27 stops that I wanted to see, many of which were close together. I started my day at around 10h30am, from Grand Army Plaza area, and ended at around 4h30pm, back to around the same area (I put all the points I wanted to see on a google map and did a loop around the whole park). My favorite highlights were: Bethesda terrace & fountain, sitting by water at Loeb boathouse, seeing all the turtles in the water close to Bow Bridge, Conservatory Water area, The Egyptian Obelisk and Belvedere Castle.

    Calm... Central Park
Central Park does not disappoint. While walking around and thru it for a couple of hours, I can see why New Yorkers love their park! My favorite part was the angel fountain, Bethesda Fountain. There was music being played, the sun was out, the gorgeous fountain was flowing, and it was so calm and serene, even with many people enjoying it. I even saw a bride in her dress, with her groom, having photos taken. My husband loved the Strawberry Fields area in tribute to the late, great, John Lennon. Though outside the park is New York's hustle and bustle, inside the park is a whole different world. Even the squirrels are friendly. It truly is a beautiful place! It's a "must see" to me!

A Serene Escape in the Heart of NYC
Central Park is an oasis of green in the heart of the bustling metropolis of New York City. Strolling through its winding paths and beautiful gardens is a welcome respite from the noise and crowds of the city. The park offers so many activities, including boating, horseback riding, and even ice skating in the winter months. The many fountains, sculptures, and bridges scattered throughout the park make it a photographer's dream. Whether you want to relax and read a book or take a jog around the reservoir, Central Park has something for everyone. It's a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to New York City.

    Bicycle Taxi at Central Park
We took the Taxi bicycle bc we only had a few hours planned for the park. It was $125 for 2 or 3 people for one hour. This does not include the tip. Most of the drivers are foreigners. They try to explain the best they can but just tell them to let you read their folder with pictures. They show you all the sites. If you negotiate with them you can get it lower and they can take you to your hotel or to the closest subway. It’s 2 miles to go around the park. You can walk or rent a bike. They also have Pickleball if your a player.

The best park in the country.
If you’re looking for some green space in the city, there is nothing better. Excellent playgrounds for our friends’ children. Tons of walking paths. Carousel, live music, art, and views. All free. Don’t miss.

    Connect with nature
Central park has great lakes teeming with terrapins (turtles) and fish, wild birds, trees, rocks and even history. Plenty of benches to rest your feet. Only, take a packed lunch as there are precious few places around to buy food.

    Well worth a visit
Really large park in the centre of the city. Loads of places to sit and plenty of walkways. There are several things to see in the park including Belvedere Castle, Shakespeare Garden, Turtle Pond and Bethesda Terrace to name a few. There is also a zoo in the park and a couple of ponds. Well worth a visit to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city streets.

    A MUST SEE NYC TREASURE
We have been to Central Park many times and each time saw different parts of it. This time we entered across from the Plaza Hotel and walked past the Zoo entrance. You are able to see the sea lions exhibit and feeding and show from the walkway. There are many park benches to stop and rest and just people watch.
