Just when you think you’ve seen all there is to watch, there’s more! This summer marks the launch of HBO Max, new offerings from the still-finding-its-legs Quibi, plus a slate of series from the usual streaming suspects. Search Party is returning, after far too long, and Ramy and The Politician will both be back with sophomore seasons. Space Force has the potential to fulfill all the wishes of hardcore fans of The Office, while I May Destroy You has Michaela Coel writing and starring in a show that takes a far different tone from her beloved Chewing Gum. It might not be Mai Tais on the beach or summer road trips, but it’s certainly something worth getting excited for.

Sedaris’s wacky, colorful show takes on a whole new meaning in quarantine. In the third season, the show continues to embrace its witty format (think The Martha Stewart Show, spun around a few times) and A-list comedy guest stars.

Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on truTV.

Love Life

HBO Max

One of HBO Max’s most high-profile initial offerings, Love Life has Anna Kendrick reuniting with her A Simple Favor director, Paul Feig, who executive-produces this series. A concept that could be a bit trite—each episode in the series is focused on one of the people Kendrick’s character dates before finding her true match—but Kendrick’s performance and a pleasantly funny script make it a worthy investment.

Premieres Wednesday, May 27 on HBO Max.

With The Office nostalgia at an all-time high, a project from Steve Carell and producer Greg Daniels feels like a heaven-sent gift. Carell plays an Air Force General tasked with establishing a military branch in space, and though that may have some horrifying political associations, the show’s pedigree and cast (Lisa Kudrow, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, and Diana Silvers) make us ready to venture to a galaxy far from Scranton.

Premieres Friday, May 29 on Netflix.
