HADLEY, MASS. – Williams College senior forward
Maddy Mandyck has been named the NESCAC Women's basketball Player of the Week for her role in leading the Ephs to a 3-0 record and winning the championship of their Morin Memorial Tournament.
Mandyck averaged 12.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 5.7 blocks and added 4 assists, and 2.7 steals in the first three games of the season. She shot 60% from the field and was 8 for 10- from the free- throw line.
Mandyck was named to the Morin Memorial All-Tournament Team after recording a triple double and a double double in back-to-back games. Versus Stevenson University she broke the Eph record for most blocks in a game when she rejected 12 shots by the Mustangs. In addition, she also contributed 13 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, and had 2 steals.
In the Ephs 76-69 win over Albright Mandyck tallied 16 points and collected 10 rebounds.
