School counselors are critical to student success. School counselors work with students, families, teachers, administrators, and others to address all students’ academic, career and social/emotional needs. As state-licensed, educational leaders with master’s degrees, school counselors work to ensure that all students have the opportunity to be successful.

College and Career Specialists implement targeted strategies that prepare all students for postsecondary opportunities.

School Counseling and Postsecondary Advising (OSCPA) is comprised of the following teams: school counseling, college and career specialists, scholarships, and postsecondary initiatives. All provide professional development and support to school counselors, college and career coaches, and school administrators at the school level.
