We chose this resort last min. It is a very polished resort and we found it to be slightly over priced in regards to food a beverage. Great location with great amenities (pools/marina/shuttle services). Crazy amounts of air traffic made it very had to relax at pool side. The doors on the rooms did a great job at keeping the air traffic out. The breakfast buffet was nothing better then you'd recieve as complementary at a standard holiday inn hotel, in regards to the food offered. The place setting for the buffet breakfast was great. We were expecting a 24hr full service hotel experience and were surprised to learn room service had a cut off time. The room was in fact a suite and I'd imagine most visitors would use the kitchens in the rooms more then we would did and probably wouldn't have concerns like these. How ever we did only stay for 3 nights and cooking our selves was not something we had planned. Over all these are minor things and the report its self is probably one of the best in the area. I would recommend this resort and would definitely return.

Stayed at the Naples Bay Resort & Marina the 11th through 18th of September 2020. Checked in at the front desk which was very easy. They took a credit card and went over the "extra" charges which were $37 per day for "activity fees" and a one time charge of $160 for cleaning. I knew about the $37 per day but the $160 was not on my reservation work. Possibly the fault of my booking agent but it was still something you need to be aware of. Having said that, we stayed in the "Cottages" which is right within walking distance of the check-in location. The room was very nice and set up with everything we needed. Right near the pool, club, exercise room and spa so you are right at all of the activities. If you want to rent a boat or go out on excursions, again, you're within walking distance. They also have golf carts that will pick you up for those local jaunts if you don't want to walk. The resort is close to Tin City, Town (5th and 3rd) and the pier so if you want, they will pick you up with a shuttle and take you. I think you'll really enjoy your stay here; we did and highly recommend it!

Dear theritz96, Thank you for the great review and very happy to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. The cottages are very conveniently located for all of the amenities at The Club as you point out. As-well as the golf cart shuttle we have a regular mini-bus shuttle that takes guests to Fifth Avenue and the beach. I appreciate your personal recommendation and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Sincerely, John Reilly

My wife and I wanted to visit my family in Naples while having some privacy away from our kids. We got it here at the resort . We had a great stay at the Naples Bay Resort. The location made it easy for us to visit family at Fiddlers Creek while being able to walk to downtown and it's was a short ride for dinner one night in Old Naples. Our room was not initially ready when we arrived but, Roberto at the front desk found a room available (we arrived at 10am) and hooked us up with room 358. It was was great b/c we were close to the Club (pool) and our balcony was private. The staff was top of the line and we are really really happy we booked it. We will return to Naples and stay here again...

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this facility for kids. Though the rooms are spacious, nice/modern and have renovated kitchens, there are no activities or things for kids to do except for one pool that is a shuttle-ride away (far from the rooms). Though the hotel advertises 5 pools, that's not really true... 3 are small and for adults only, and one is a small loop ('lazy river'). All facilities were nice, clean, just too few things to do.
The property is also located on a busy highway. If you choose to walk to town, it's pretty unpleasant and not that close for little kids. Walking to the beach will take you 30-40 mins. There are shuttles, but in our experience they never showed up when they were supposed to (we were there over Xmas and I think staff was thin) so we ended up walking or taking our own car.
Staff was super nice. Beds were comfy. Rooms were quiet, so you didn't hear the noise of the highway right outside your door much. Didn't really enjoy having workers on our decks while we were there, but what are you going to do about that.
Thank goodness the kitchens were nice, as dining in the fancy restaurant was also a disappointment unfortunately - very slow service and weird issues (like the appetizers coming out last, over an hour after ordering)... I think there was a training issue or maybe none of the experienced staff were working Xmas!

We stayed at this resort for 2 weeks in January of 2021! We originally booked one week in the cottages but loved it so much we quickly booked another week. Being in the cottages we had a great location to the pools and they had everything for all types of families. We had two small children with us and it was zero depth plus waterfall and hot tub (they also have an adults only section but we never saw that)! My husband and I both used the amazing fitness center (peloton!!) and the steam room and sauna! We had incredible massages (thank you Ninette) and amazing service from Cameron in particular. I should mention that we are a middle class family from the suburbs of Chicago, with that being said.. you are AT a private club. This is shared with actual MEMBERS that pay to go here and use the facilities, and they will look at you (if you don’t have $$$) like you should be cleaning their dishes. Not the resorts fault. Also, I did feel that some of the bartenders treated us quite differently since we were not members... just an FYI because honestly we had no idea it was also a private club! If you’re staying in the cottages, no housekeeping (extra fee) but there is a washer and dryer. It was our last day today and when my mom went to ask for a hand to help with an umbrella she did say the bartenders looked at her like “you guys aren’t gone yet?” But whatever! We enjoyed every minute. I would give it a 5 star review if we received a bit more neutral treatment from the staff at the bar as well as housekeeping in the cottage.

Dear mommalovescarbs , Thank you for posting a positive review after your recent visit to the resort. The cottages are a great option for families and conveniently situated to access the pool deck at The Club. Our fitness room is one of the best in town and The Peloton bikes have been a huge hit since we installed them. I appreciate your compliments of many staff members and thank you for recognizing Ninette and Cameron who are both outstanding team members. We are indeed a private club but all of our guests should enjoy the same high service level. I will share your comments with our Club Director as all of our patrons deserve the highest service levels and recognition. I hope that we can welcome you back on a future trip to Naples and please reach out to me in advance as I would be only to happy to assist. Sincerely, John Reilly

This hotel is not pet friendly and the personal in the lobby manager and receptionist don’t really care. We came with our kitten and the earliest check in this hotel is at 4 pm. They required an additional charge of 75 dollars for pet cleaning fee at entrance that was not advertise in the booking process. We had a boat booked in the morning for a few hours but the check out is at 11 am so, you have to pay the late fee of $70 + the non-refundable fee of 75 dollars for cleaning + resort fees of course. Hotels don’t Take advantage and charge more because you bringing a kid..if a pet mess things around I understand you pay an extra cleaning fee but not regardless.

Dear Laura and Elliott, The hotel is indeed pet friendly and has been for many years. The $75 fee has also been in place since we started accepting pets and all of our guests pay it and are appreciative generally that they can travel with their pets..We are always delighted to welcome pets as we recognize how important they are to their owners and not all hotels permit pets to stay. Check out is at 11am. You were offered a late checkout complimentary up until 12.30. You wanted 3pm and were advised that there would be a charge. It appears that because you did not get what you wanted for free, you have taken to this site to petulantly slate the resort. The analogy of a child and pet is an interesting one. You decided not to stay and so missed the opportunity to experience the resort. Had you posted a review after staying with us and pointed out areas where we had not delivered I would certainly understand and accept it. Sincerely, John Reilly

We live 30 min from the resort and rented a boat there before. The property was beautiful so we booked a night staycation getaway. It is a great location and includes many perks like free shuttle to downtown Naples, waterfront harbor views, restaurants on the property, access to their club property and a vacation atmosphere. The staff was so friendly and attentive to our every need. The concierge, Hope, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She even offered to carry our bags to the room because we traveling light and didn’t use a bellman. Breakfast at the Members Club was exceptional both food and service. We will be coming back. It was a wonderful experience.

We were here pre-pandemic (March 2019) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves — and then we just couldn’t find a time to return. At the last minute this year, we cancelled a trip to Barbados and was very lucky to secure a marina view one bedroom suite. When we arrived a beautiful and generous basket and a bottle of wine was waiting in our room as they knew it was our anniversary. The goodies from the basket were enjoyed through out our stay. Our suite was lovely, comfortable and clean and the balcony was large with comfortable seating. While the room was nicely located near the elevator, the traffic noise on the terrace was noticeable — despite having a Marina view. Midway through our stay, a family member joined us and the hotel was extremely accommodating in finding us a suitable 2 bedroom suite for the remainder of our stay. For us, the up-charge to a two bedroom was worth it. (The sofa bed in the 1 br would not have done it for us). The location of our new suite was better, the suite more spacious for 3 and the balcony larger with a full dining table. Special thanks to Dalila, Hope and the entire front desk staff, who were so kind, accommodating and patient with us in helping us settle into our new suite. It was just perfect! Staying anywhere during Covid is a challenge but the hotel staff were all masked and careful. The housekeepers were masked and did a thorough cleaning. We stayed out of their way on the balcony. And having a comfortable suite with a balcony with a view was ideal for us to stay safe. However other guests and basically every Floridian and tourist were not. We took the very convenient shuttle daily to the restaurants and once to the beach (chairs, towels and umbrellas all in excellent shape an much appreciated). However very few of the other guests on the shuttle wore masks, making us a little concerned. We kept our N-95’s on and hoped that we were protected. (Seems to have worked). Eating out doors was fairly simple in all of the places we ate, we were diligent in asking for outdoor seating where ever we went. All in all, Naples Bay Resort was just perfect for us. So much so, we are reserved to come back in a couple of months.

I planned for my partner and I to stay at The Naples Bay Resort Hotel & Marina as a surprise for our engagement weekend. What can I say except our stay was perfect from start to finish. After I had booked, I contacted the hotel, to communicate some key dates around my proposal to my fiance (girlfriend at the time). On arrival we had been upgraded to a Marina view room, and welcomed with a glass of Prosecco. It seemed that all of the staff I interacted with were aware on arrival, and operated with the highest level of discretion so as to not spoil the surprise. Hope, the concierge was an absolute superstar, helping with my engagement plans and even discretely giving me a bottle of champagne "from the hotel" (it was actually a special bottle I had bought; Hope had the excellent idea to pretend to give us the bottle on behalf of the hotel, so as to not arouse suspicion on our special night, as we were off out to our dinner reservation). When we returned back that night, happily engaged, the room had been tidied and a card from all of the staff & bottle of prosecco delivered to our room to congratulate us. A beautiful touch which we greatly appreciated. Every member of staff, management and Hope especially, went above and beyond to make our stay absolute perfection.

We chartered a speed boat from the Hotel Marina, which was incredibly convenient (especially for my engagement plans as this was an integral part of my plan). The guy in the store was very informative and made us feel very assured. Although there was a mistake with our bill at the end of the trip, this was quickly resolved and the men in the shop were very apologetic. We will definitely be renting with them again as they were absolutely brilliant, and competitively priced when compared to other boat charters in the area.

The hotel itself is in a stunning location, not too far from 5th avenue and shack city, with a mini bus operating out of the hotel if you do not want to walk. The driver from New York (whos name I dont remember) was especially friendly, and even offered to take us on a diversion to pick up some provisions from 7/11 as we headed back to the hotel from 5th.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bed huge and comfortable. The pool facilities are gorgeous with a tranquil waterfall, and immaculate swimming pools. The young men, driving the golf cart from the hotel to the club house were well mannered and drove very carefully. We felt very safe as we travelled to and from the pool.

Once again, our trip and stay was wonderful. We have made some very happy memories here and cannot wait to return, and recommend to friends and family.

Thank you for an amazing time, and apologies for taking so long to review!

There is one small pool that is at the hotel. The nicer pools however are at the tennis club area. I would strongly advice taking the complimentary shuttle golf cart to this area. It is much too long of a hike for a young child or older adults. The pools are much larger and have more fun activities for kids.

Sorry Journey! Over a year and I actually just saw your message. Better late than never. It's a secure location howver I wouldn't exactly call it all inclusive. The restaurant and bar at the pool is pay as if you are at any restaurant & bar. They do have several amenities provide to guests included with your rental fees. It's gated and you get a code to enter the property with your car.
