Wisconsin is bathed by the Great Lakes on two sides - Lake Superior (north) and Lake Michigan (east). Madison is the capital city, with the Wisconsin State Capitol on an isthmus between the lakes Mendota and Monona. Milwaukee is the largest city in the state, known for its brewing history, and the museum of Harley Davidson among the tourist attractions.
