Images in PowerPoint with effects
Images sequentially to display, you must set effects for these objects. The following instructions will work in PowerPoint 2010.
- First insert the desired images on the film.
- Click on the picture to be first displayed.
- Navigate to the tab "animations".
- Select in the group "Animation" from the various animation effects to your desired effect.
- Some of the effects, such as wave, are only for text animations, and images not available.
- You have assigned to your image an effect that you see in the vicinity of the object a number. This number indicates the order of animations and helps you to keep the Overview. The number will not be included in the slide show later.

Now, place the starting and the duration of the Animation for each image. Here is a list of various actions in the group "display time" available.
- Should the Animation startwhen you click the mouse, select "start on Click".
- You have already set previous effects, and choose "With Previous" starts the animation effect at the same time as the effect previously. Thus, multiple animations are running at the same time.
- Select "After Previous" starts the effect immediately after the expiration of the previous effect.
- To set the duration, enter in the "display duration" to the desired duration in seconds in the "duration" field. Enter nothing here, the image is displayed according to the Show permanently.
- With "delay" you can delay the Start of the Animation to the Start if required. Enter the duration in seconds.
- In order to test their effects, click in the tab "animations" in group "preview" to "preview".
Animation effects, organize in PowerPoint
You have a lot of effects in your presentation, it will not help you in the animation pane, to lose the Overview.
- You can display the animation pane by Clicking in the tab "animations > Advanced Animation > animation pane".
- You will see a list of all the animations of the film is clearly in order.
- Here you can make further settings for the animation effects. You can change the duration, or click the right button of the mouse. You will get a context menu with further options.
- The order of the effects you can change via Drag & Drop.
