To make your PowerPoint presentation more interesting, you can display images one after the other. How to do this, you will learn in the following article.

  • You have already set previous effects, and choose "With Previous" starts the animation effect at the same time as the effect previously. Thus, multiple animations are running at the same time.
  • Select "After Previous" starts the effect immediately after the expiration of the previous effect.
  • To set the duration, enter in the "display duration" to the desired duration in seconds in the "duration" field. Enter nothing here, the image is displayed according to the Show permanently.
  • With "delay" you can delay the Start of the Animation to the Start if required. Enter the duration in seconds.
  • In order to test their effects, click in the tab "animations" in group "preview" to "preview".

You have a lot of effects in your presentation, it will not help you in the animation pane, to lose the Overview.
  • You can display the animation pane by Clicking in the tab "animations > Advanced Animation > animation pane".
  • You will see a list of all the animations of the film is clearly in order.
  • Here you can make further settings for the animation effects. You can change the duration, or click the right button of the mouse. You will get a context menu with further options.
  • The order of the effects you can change via Drag & Drop.
