Sussex County Woman Faces Multiple Heroin Charges: Police
Chelsea M. Pruden, 28, of Andover, was charged after a month-long investigation in Hackettstown with Warren County's Prosecutor's Office.
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ — A woman from Andover is now in Warren County’s Correctional Center, facing multiple charges of distribution and possession of heroin in Hackettstown.
Sgt. Darren Tynan, a spokesperson for Hackettstown’s Police Department, said in a news release on Tuesday that police were searching for Chelsea M. Pruden, 28, after the police department and Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force embarked on a joint, month-long investigation into heroin distribution within Hackettstown.

Pruden has been charged with: two counts of heroin distribution, two counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin, two counts of distributing heroin within 500 feet of a public park and two counts of distributing it within 1,000 feet of a school.
The Hackettstown Police Department issued a warrant in their search for her on Nov. 19, Tynan said, with Pruden apprehended by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office in Newark on Nov. 29.
