INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.

I always wanted to attend Summer camps growing up, a lot of churches and children ministers organised children’s camp every year but my parents never allowed me.

I was pro stay away summer camps too before I had kids because I know how much I wanted to attend one. My younger sisters got

to go when my mom joined a new church and they had a wonderful time.

For them it was the best vacation ever, they said there was a lot of outdoor activities and fun games, bonfire and they met other kids from across the nation and bonded well.

It’s was a two weeks stay at the camp site.

Now it is my turn and i dont think i want summer camp away from home with strangers for my kids. They can get involved in extra curricular activities during summer but they must sleep at home everyday.

I have the same mindset as you.....

PINKYS CORNER

hmmm, this life shaa, no where is safe again, we just need to be very careful and watchful because not all mad men are really mad.

In Ibadan, there is a man who pretends to be a madman, and always sits at a particular place.. This mad man will resume at same spot latest by 8am and close around 6-7pm but one thing I noticed is the guy doesn't eat bad food.

When I talk about food, I don't mean just anyhow food, he eats good meal and I'm sure someone brings that food to him, which means he is always there for a mission because my instinct doesn't deceive me.

So, last week, I left home around 11pm after taking enough nap then went to get some drugs . I had to pass through that same spot and I saw this guy eating rice and turkey and not ordinary rice oo, it's a packaged one from one of the known fast food. I couldn't hold it and spoke to the Keke guy that carried me. The guy said, he is sure that guy is not a real mad man because the guy doesn't look like one due to what he eats and he also said the guy uses a mobile phone

On my way back, I was expecting to see him there but I didn't, so I stylishly inquire and was told some people came to pick him not quite long with a car then I went further to know who those people was and he said he doesn't know but same people bring him there every morning .

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he is harmful or violent but just trying to make my people aware and be careful at every point in time because I see no reason why someone will come drop a mad man to say at a spot and also pick same up in the evening when it's not an office work.

May God safe and save us always.

Pretending to be a mad man to collect money is a day Job and is done all over the World, not just Naija....

FROM FRIDAY NIGHT POST

''I am on my bed thinking about a lot of things. About to retire from service after 35 years. No husband, no child, no mother. No father, no brother, no sister, no known relative. I am going crazy., depressed, lonely, distrust. It was the job that kept me going. Now retirement is staring me in the face.

I stated this work at 18 as an orphan and went to school while at it. Just remaining 1 year to retire and i thank God i have risen to the top and my retirement benefit will be good but the loneliness is hitting me hard. No where to go to.

I am not cut out for business though have many investments here and there. What if something happens to me who will be there for me? I am in my 50s. I am thinking of my end when God calls me. I am so disturbed. I need someone to come share my house with me. I live in a personal house. I know how much i have lost trying to adopt with no success.

Money gone down with fake adoption moves. I am tired. Not in any position again to adopt as i cant spend my pension training a child so i hand myself to God. I am all alone in this wicked world. Pray for me''.

Madam please adopt a kid if you can..... maybe not so small but someone that can stay with you and give you company.. The process takes about six months and not so stressful....

Your present state of mind really made me sad the whole of friday night....

The depressed single lonely lady, please don't ever give up on hope. You can still get married if you wish to and adopt a baby, either a bit grown or a new born if you wish to. Depending on your location, there are good kids from good blood you can adopt and be happy in future. God has not and will never give up on you kkk.

  3. The fact that terrorists can abduct passengers for over 3 months, constantly upload videos displaying their cruelty to the innocent victims, and even threaten to kidnap the president, is hard to digest, honestly. I don't get it!!
What is happening now, should bother every Nigerian, because any of us can be victims of this madness going on.
How can terrorists hold a Nation to ransom like this, and nothing is being done? Dis kontri sha!
May Nigeria not happen to us....

For every Amusan there are several Sydney McLaughlin and Amand Duplantis. In every society or country, you will always have some individuals that accomplish great feats.

But what we are talking about is the collective good like the state of the economy and security...

    6. This was me late last month. For no reason my heart just cut(palpitations) went to check my BP, it was very high. I had to take some BP drugs to suppress it. It was later my nurse came around to get my blood to run some test. Apparently, I was having typhoid, malaria, high cholesterol and ulcer which I guess was the cause of the palpitations. So it's better you run all those test to know what exactly is wrong. Do not start BP drugs without doing those test or else you keep using them for life ( that was what I was told).

As per the woman That is preparing for her retirement. I have come to understand that our God is God and all powers belongs to him. He can give you a husband even after retirement. You can adopt a child as Stella suggested. Make your plans and allow God take the wheel. Congratulations in advance on your retirement. I pray for you from my heart. May God show you mercy beyond your expectations. Receive all your heart desires which has been delayed. My former neighbor married to a widower at almost 60. 16. So there's this guy within my area I've been close to and he's been asking we date. I've been feeling uptight but don't know why. So around February we ironed this out. Towards the end of February, I was going to my God son's house and decided to stop by his place to say hello since i was passing his area.

So I got to his house and saw a ladies shoe but didn't pay attention to it. I knocked and he opened saying "Hi". I was like what's going on. When i entered i saw the lady lying down on the couch. I said hello to her and he walked towards the lady and said some thing's to her and entered his room. I waited for him to come out and told him i need to rush somewhere and he said okay.

That was the last day i stepped foot into his house. He called after an hour or so but didn't pick. Deleted his number from my phone. Most times probably when am on my way to work or back from work, our path cross and i just carry a straight face.

So on Saturday, I was going out and our path crossed, he saw me from afar, crossed over to my side and said "good morning". I replied while walking and when he raised his hand for me to give him a ✋, I just nodded my head and zoomed.

So am like, what an audacity!!! After what happened at your place, you never'd called till today to explain what happened at your place and you expect me to just shake you, be free with you like nothing happened? It is what it is jare.... We mouveeeee 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃

  19. *Love letter written by a boy to a girl in the 1960s and allegedly read in an Old School students meeting last week Saturday.*

    Ogangamodu grammar School,
    P. O Box 20,
    Ido Ekiti
    Western Region,
    Nigeria.
    16th March, 1960.

    Dear Sweetie,

Time and ability plus double capacity have forced my pen to dance automatically on this benedicted sheet of paper. I hope you're swimming in the wonderful pool of Mr. Health there. I am also perambulating in the cool breeze of wellness here.

I hope you are swimming in the pool of love?
    If so doxology.

Sweetie pie, the reason why this miraculous thing is happening is because, honey, I love you spontaneously, and as I stand horizontally parallel to the wall and vertically perpendicular to the ground now, I only think of you, since you are a fantastic and fabulous girl, put together as fantabulous. I implore you to decipher this my anthem of love oozing out from the innermost pendulum of my thoraxial cavity.

Darling, please stop haranguing with the feelings in my heart because I love you more than a snake loves rat.
To me each day I start by dreaming of you. Each time I see you, my metabolism suddenly halts and my peristalsis goes in reverse gear. My medula oblongata also ceases functioning.

Crazy, crazy, crazy you may say but this is verily veritable. If only you knew what is going on in my encephalon, you would prostrate. That's why I need to see you vis a vis soon for a better elucidation through tete a tete. No hyperbole & onomatopoeia, simple candidness.

Only you and me are protagonists in this subtle affair. As I cogitate and ruminate over the last episode, I genuflex before the Omnipotent and implore him to let this affair emulsify.

By the way, I was bamboozled, scintilated, exhilarated, and left in a state of prolonged euphoria by the contents of your missive which was quite edifying and exalting. It left my bio-chemistry in a paradise-like equilibrium.

Empirically speaking, I love you chemically... I don't ever want to see gloom and doom looming over your angelic live portrait. Let my appellation be scribbled across your heart, with indelible ink. If any boy tries to ask for your companionship, tell him that you are leased and caveated.

I think I have to pen off here, because I still haven't finished studying electrolysis polymerization. But before I evaporate, I like to revitalize your memory with those encapsulating lyrics which proclaim that your catarrh is my butter, your piss is my mimbo, the world's greatest lover is me.

Catch you later. Sleep tight and don't let those bed bugs bite you because you are too sweet for them.

    Goodbye for now.

Your slave in love, your pillow, your cushion and your butter on bread!

If I ever had any tiny doubt left in my mind about how much of a great mother in law she is, it’s now totally cleared. I was prepared to do things to avoid any issues. Like wake up and wash plate, clean the house, cook etc but this woman will not even let me wash plates. She constantly tells me she knows I hate washing plates so she won’t put me through that stress. Once I do agidi, she go rush pursue me for there. We do the cooking together with her doing most as she already prepared different delicacies. The only thing I do is make poundo yam cos she said she doesn’t have that kind of strength.

She insists on us not spending a dime of our money and Alex keeps picking toys from shops and she keeps paying. Bless that woman for us.

When we just came in, her best friend here came and brought cooked jollof rice and orisirisi meat for us and she something. She said she loves how I am and just prays her kids get someone like me (yea, I’m bragging)

As it is, if I were you I for Don Carry belle since o and damn what the world says ....hmmm...my aunt was in her ,50s when she paid a someone to carry her child in Lagos for her (I mean surrogacy) she was in Abuja... even when she had the child our own relatives were calling her kids artificial baby because they didn't even understand anything and how she got a child all of a sudden but we knew and not only did the surrogate give birth to one, she gave birth to twins for my aunt! We thank God. She flaunts them a whole lot...lol we are even tired lol. So all the best!

Calling children artificial kids. Very backward people.
It's gonna take a while before Nigerians get in terms with surrogacy

    3. Why do Nigerians treat women who are over 50's like they do not matter anymore! I see nothing wrong with surrogacy, even younger ladies do it too. More blessings to your aunt ❤️❤️❤️

  25. sign out post is Soo true. It's all making sense to.me concerning my hubby. His friends are cheats and who will support maltreatment of a spouse because men are polygamous in nature. His bestman supported him in beating me and said I was a feminist. Lol, feminist wey dey cook, wash, support her hubby even contributing to their child's school fees when the "man" cannot pay school fees of 14k? Just because I insist I don't support his cheating lifestyle. I should have read the signs by observing his friends. Una good day oo

  27. There used to be this madman. He died last year, if I remember correctly. Always stay at a roundabout. Man drinks Coca-Cola everyday.
People who have been in that town for long, said his family makes advance monthly payment to whoever it is that gives him the "orobo" Coca-Cola.
Learnt the man has been there for 20years before he died, last year or 2020. And he used to be super good in mathematics.

Good afternoon y'all. Do enjoy the rest of the day.

  30. Hmmmmm abt borrowing, i remember when ia was abt to get married, i was leaving with my cousin, a neighbour came to our house arnd 3am and requested for sanitary pad, it was so unusual bcoz why will a woman in her home request for such thing by that tym, does it mean she has no tissue or clean cloth she can use to hold herself till mid morning, it's not as of she is close to us, just goodmorning and that's all.
I gave her the pad like 3 pieces without thinking anything, later in the day, i got to remember the dream i had that night when i was told that someone is coming to borrow smtin from me, that i shld make sure that i did not give the person the stuff, in that dream it was a he. When i remembered the dream i was so sad throughout the week, i prayed the way i could, few mothe later i got married, and i have been suffering miscarriage ever since then, just reading this salt story have make me to start thinking maybe this woman did smtin to me, although i dnt like holding unto things like this. But i will pray over this.

    6. 1. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has set YOU free from the law of sin and death.

      2. If ANY man be in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.

Meditate on these two scriptures until your Spirit man takes hold of these truths and dispels the lies the devil is trying to feed you.

It is well with you, dear.

  36. FROM FRIDAY NIGHT POST
    Some suggestions:
Join a church - join any group needing servicing hands and caring hearts. You dont have to declare your status ahead. Just join and scrub in. A busy hand and caring heart is God's workshop. You may get youthful members in need of accomodation to share with. You may meet single 50 or widowers in their 50s to share with. You may get parents release children into your care, plus more

Join or continue in your professional associations.

Go back to school. Being amongst young and working professionals can revive you and create new opportunities.

Look for consultancy jobs even if they cover only expenses. With time the full fees may come. Meanwhile, you get busy.

Write about your professional experience and publish.

Are you in a university town and near to the school? You can remodel you home and let to female students with good references and whose parents verify them.

In course of doing or going out for any of the above, marriage and or companionship and a child (biological or adopted) can come under your care and roof.

Get up. Go Ask, Seek, Knock. God never sleeps.

    Best wishes.

    Mr. Mann

    1. Join all the associations of this world, she will still need someone to call her own. Maybe not a husband but definitely a child. If any woman desires a child and is approaching menopause with no husband at sight, I advise them to have a baby or even two. Especially if the have the resources to take care of them. My paternal auntie did and today she’s the happiest. Even though she cut down the financial assistance she use to give us as soon as she had the baby, but we all were so happy for her. Come see this guy now, very responsible intelligent young man. I can’t imagine if she hadn’t taken that step seeing that all of us that are her nieces and nephews are now engrossed with our own lives. Na loneliness for kill am. Madam pls adopt a child asap. Even two sef. Wonder why you haven’t done so since. Take care

  39. The story of the woman that is about to retire touched me so much.
Madam, I will advise you to just commit everything into God's hands as you can't help yourself, only Him can. It's not easy, but that's the only way you be happy and keep moving in life, to avoid break down.
Also, if you are a christian, make yourself available and active in the work of God. See the brethren as your brothers, sisters and children. It is well with you

  40. Bv that is in her 50s and about to retire. As I read your comment, I felt your fears and sadness.
Pls ma'am join one of these charity organisations as a volunteer, you can join Rotary club too, if you are a Christian, join the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship, they are in all corners of Nigeria. In these groups you would meet and relate with people, you would make friends. You can even get a great man to marry through this and he would make a great companion to you in old age. I wish you good health and joy in your future endeavours.

Wanted to go for ivf but we couldn't afford it, had beg hubby to allow us adopt which he agreed to. Doing my findings and one of the options is that I can choose to visit with the child instead of the official coming to the house and the fees is not much. Lives in North-West and in a Christian dominated area. Do your findings well and pray as you try again. Don't give up.

  58. I lived in Okigwe Town as an undergraduate between 2005-2010. Back then, the town was littered with different mad men. In my first and second year, there was this particular mad man that used to roam around my lodge. He was the peaceful type and used to walk about with a cardboard and pen, scribbling God knows what. I stopped seeing him in my third year and assumed he had migrated elsewhere. I went for IT and came back for my final year. Imagine my shock one day when I stepped out to go to school and I saw this mad man,all cleaned up and entering a Mercedes Benz, parked in front of a restaurant. He caught my eye and winked at me with a knowing smirk. It was then I believed when the locals of the town said many ritualistic come from far places to do their diabolic nonsense for a period of time and when the time is due, they go back home to sudden wealth waiting for them.
