Alyssa Michelle Stephens (born December 22, 1998), known professionally as Latto (formerly known as Mulatto), is an American rapper. She won the first season of the reality television series The Rap Game in 2016 as Miss Mulatto.

Her 2019 single "Bitch from da Souf" peaked at number 95 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 2020. It was accompanied by a remix by rappers Saweetie and Trina. "Muwop" (featuring Gucci Mane) followed. Both songs were certified platinum. They also appeared on Latto's first album Queen of da Souf, which was released in August 2020. The album was re-issued as a deluxe edition in December 2020. Latto's mainstream breakthrough came with the release of "Big Energy", the lead single from her second studio album 777 (2022). It became Latto's highest-charting single to date, peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.

Latto was under fire in 2022 after publicly feuding with self-proclaimed “Queen of Rap” Nicki Minaj, after Latto secured a Grammy nomination whereas Nicki did not. The two threw shots back and forth in now-deleted social media posts. Nicki Minaj’s notoriously aggressive fanbase ‘the Barbz’ who are known to send disrespect and threats without anything to back it up, are still commenting on Big Latto’s activities as of April 2024; despite Latto specifying previously that she simply does not care.
