Michigan football has been hosting a bunch of highly-rated recruits over the past month and are starting to build some momentum under new head coach Sherrone Moore.

The Wolverines are still searching for their first commitment in the 2025 class under the new head coach, but there are some positive signs that Michigan football won't have to wait super long.

According to Chad Simmons of On3.com, Michigan football is now the favorite to land four-star wideout Taz Williams in the 2025 class. The 6-foot, 181-pound wideout from Red Oaks, Texas, is ranked No. 283 overall according to the On3 Industry rankings. The prediction by Simmons gives the Wolverines a 66-percent chance to land his commitment via the On3 prediction machine.

Elite Ohio cornerback also projected to Michigan football

The positive trend for Taz Williams is really good news, but soon after that projection was put out by Chad Simmons, Allen Trieu, a top Midwest recruiting analyst put in a huge crystal ball projection for 247 Sports for Michigan football to land Ohio cornerback Dawayne Galloway.

Galloway is 6-foot-1, 175 pounds and out of Columbus, Ohio. He's ranked as the fifth-best prospect in the state of Ohio for the 2025 class. The talented cornerback is also ranked 96th overall according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

The cornerback runs a 10.42 in the 100-meter dash and will be taking a visit to see Michigan football once again this month. He'll get a chance to meet new secondary coach Lamar Morgan, and as long as that goes well, the Wolverines should be in the pole position.
