Beachwood Man Busted for Child Pornography

TOMS RIVER, NJ -First Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr. announced that on May 26, 2020, Robert Naumann, 37, of Beachwood, was arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4b(5)(iii).

Following an investigation into alleged acts of sexual misconduct by Naumann, members of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit and Beachwood Police Department Detective Bureau sought and obtained court-authorized Search Warrants for Naumann’s vehicle and residence in Beachwood.  On May 8, 2020, Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, Beachwood Police Department Detective Bureau, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, executed the Search Warrants – resulting in the seizure of numerous electronic devices belonging to Naumann.  A forensic examination of those devices yielded approximately 300 images of child pornography.  Naumann surrendered himself to law enforcement and was processed and released pending a future court date with the condition that he have no contact with minors or access to the internet.
