The great dress reveal of 2018 is finally here.

After months of impassioned speculation about what Meghan Markle would wear for her royal wedding to Prince Harry, the bride walked down the aisle at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel in what's already become an iconic wedding dress.

Markle, 36, married Prince Harry, 33, in a gorgeous Givenchy gown designed by the label's British Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller.

All About the Dress

The elegant gown featured a statement train and timeless silhouette including a boat neckline and three-quarter sleeves which were meant to add "refined modernity."

Meghan met with designer Clare Waight Keller to map out her dream look.

"True to the heritage of the house, the pure lines of the dress are achieved using six meticulously placed seams," the Palace shared in its official release. "The focus of the dress is the graphic open bateau neckline that gracefully frames the shoulders and emphasizes the slender sculpted waist. The lines of the dress extend towards the back where the train flows in soft round folds cushioned by an underskirt in triple silk organza."

Meghan's 16-foot veil not only looked gorgeous as she walked up the steps at St. George's Chapel and down the long aisle, it also packed special meaning and honored her new role as a British royal.

Waight Keller included embroidery of the 53 flowers representing each of the British Commonwealth countries along the trim of the veil.

"The Commonwealth family of nations – of which Her Majesty The Queen is Head – will be a central part of Prince Harry’s and Ms. Markle’s official work following His Royal Highness’s appointment as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador," the Palace said in a statement. "Ms. Markle wanted to express her gratitude for the opportunity to support the work of the Commonwealth by incorporating references to its members into the design of her wedding dress."

As Meghan didn't have a maid of honor, her page boys, Brian and John Mulroney, the 7-year-old twin sons of Meghan’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney, served as her official veil escorts -- and stole the show.

The Tiara

Meghan followed in Kate Middleton’s footsteps wearing a tiara straight from the Queen’s jewelry vault, the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau.

Queen Mary, wife of King George V, bought this small diamond bandeau from luxury London jeweler Garrard in 1925. After her death, the tiara was inherited by her daughter-in-law, Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent. Queen Elizabeth’s sister, Princess Margaret, has also worn the tiara.

She wore her hair pulled back in a chic updo with a few loose pieces falling during the ceremony in an effortless way.

The royal bride let her tiara pack most of the sparkle, but added a hit of extra bling via delicate diamond stud earrings by French jeweler Cartier, along with one simple diamond bracelet also by the designer on her right hand.

True to form, Meghan embraced a natural beauty look with a soft pink lip and an all over glow.

The look was created by celebrity hairstylist Serge Normant (such a Hollywood favorite that Julia Roberts told People her beauty mantra is “Call Serge!”).

The Nod to American Royalty

Meghan's royal wedding dress was a nod to the timlessness of her favorite celebrity wedding dress of all time, worn by American royal Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, who wore a sophisticated and sleek dress by Narciso Rodriguez for her 1996 nuptials to John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1996.

"Everything goals," Meghan previously told Glamour when asked about Bessette Kennedy’s bridal look.
