Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel has brought in new leaders in sales, finance, HR and culinary

Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of a new director of sales, financial controller and HR manager. The hotel has hired internally for a new head chef. Read on the meet them all.

Elena Mogonova, director of sales

Elena Mogonova has over 12 years of sales experience across the UAE and Russia. Her previous roles include deputy director of sales at Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road, Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Dubai and Delta Hotels by Marriott Jumeirah Beach. This experience covered long stay, corporate and government sectors as well as groups and events, which puts her in a position to further elevate Marriott Harbour’s standing in the market.

Casmiro Pereria, financial controller

Casmiro Pereria has more than 34 years of experience in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting and has worked with several hotel brands including The Oberoi in India, Radisson SAS, Sheraton, St. Regis, W Hotels, Westin, Courtyard & Marriott Executive Apartments in the UAE. Pereira, continues his 24-year career with Marriott, joining the team as financial controller.

Amrita Kaul, HR manager

Amrita Kaul started her career with ITC Hotels in 2008, working across housekeeping and guest services. She has worked with Marriott since 2014 when she joined JW Marriott Aerocity, New Delhi, India. She then moved to JW Marriott Marquis Dubai in 2015, where she was promoted to various roles most recently as director of services. She has joined Marriott Harbour as human resources manager and has been working on her transition into a new department.

Abhishek Naidu, head chef

Chef Abhishek Naidu started his career in 2007 at Hotel Leela Kempinski Mumbai, he moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2008 working at Atlantis, The Palm and Hilton Ras al Khaimah, before joining Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites in 2019 as executive Sous chef. He has been a key player in launching new menus and promotions, managing costs and implementing HACCP guidelines. He will bring his 16 years of experience to oversee the hotel’s three restaurants.

They will work closely with the existing leadership team of Darin Davies, hotel manager, Christian Aoun, director of operations and Sourav Pakrashi, assistant director of engineering.
