Meet Dave Movie Review Summary

Sometime later, another alien ship comes down in a fiery crash near Liberty Island. This spaceship looks like Eddie Murphy. Inside the Eddie Murphy spaceship are dozens of tiny aliens controlling it in a robot-like fashion. A policeman named Dooley (played by Scott Caan) tries to find the ship. He finds an impression of the Eddie Murphy spaceship in the mud where it crash-landed. The Eddie Murphy spaceship appears to act strangely to people who encounter him, and it has some non-human extra powers like super strength. The aliens have come to Earth to find the probe. They plan to use it to suck all the water out of the oceans, so they will have enough salt to save their home planet.

The Eddie Murphy spaceship gets in an accident with a car driven by Josh's mother Gina (played by Elizabeth Banks). The Eddie Murphy spaceship acts nicely to Josh and Gina. He tells them his name is �Dave Ming Chang.� Gina replies he does not look Chinese, but she likes his first name Dave. He tells them he is looking for the metal ball probe. Josh tells him a bully took it at school. Josh points out the bully to the Dave. He gets the probe back from the bully. As Josh and Gina spend time with Dave, they become friends. Commander Number 3 (played by Gabrielle Union) gets jealous when the Captain of Dave seems to have affection for Gina. The Captain starts to have sympathy for humans so he changes his mind about draining all the oceans. Commander Number 3 (played by Gabrielle Union) gets jealous, when the Captain seems to have affection for Gina.

The second-in-command, Number 2 (played by Ed Helms) does not want to stop their plans. He starts a mutiny. They throw the Captain in the brig. Number 2 then sends the probe into the ocean, to start the water extraction process. Commander Number 3 goes along with the mutiny because of her jealousy, but afterwards changes her mind. When she tries to help the Captain they throw her and him off the ship, but they return and get control of the ship again. Dave drinks a Mojito, which makes everyone on board the ship get tipsy. Number 17 (played by Kevin Hart) runs off with female crew member because he is drunk. Once outside of the Dave spaceship, the policeman Dooley catches Number 17. Dooley figures out where Dave is and arrests him. Dave escapes. Dave batteries are running low. When the police try to catch him, Josh helps Dave by using a police taser to recharge him. The Captain retrieves the probe before it can suck up all the oceans on Earth. He orders Number 2 held in the ass of the Dave spaceship. Number 17 gets back on the spaceship. The police capture Dave, but the crew escapes but flying off in one of Dave's shoes using a rocket blast out of the bottom. On the spaceship, the Captain promotes Number 3 to become the new Number 2 and seals it with a kiss, asking her to marry him, as they fly off into space.

Best part of story, including ending: I like the comedy when Dave does not understand human culture because it is funny how real humans interact with him.

Best scene in story: The funniest scene is when Dave drinks the Mojitos and gets all the tiny aliens on board drunk.

Opinion about the main character: I especially like it, when the Captain does not destroy all the oceans of Earth because he likes humans too much. It is really good when he changes his mind, even though his home planet may suffer.
