Eagles Expand Their ‘History’ Tour With Spring, Summer Dates
The Eagles have expanded their long-running “History of the Eagles” trek, tacking on late spring and summer dates to a tour that launched back in July 2013. The new set of gigs kick off May 19th in Austin, Texas and conclude two months and 23 shows later in Bossier City, Louisiana on July 29th. The “Hotel California” band’s latest tour is in support of “the release of the band’s acclaimed, top-selling documentary of the same name and features classic Eagles’ songs spanning their entire career, including some that have never been performed live.” The trek has so far seen the Eagles dust off rarely played tracks like “Doolin-Dalton,” “Those Shoes” and a cover of Dillard & Clark’s “Train Leaves Here This Morning.”
The Eagles last performed stateside on October 15th in San Antonio, Texas. Since then, they’ve spent nearly a month touring through Australia in February and March.
