Christina Applegate's husband was detained by police yesterday (October 13) after clashing with a photographer.
Porno for Pyros bassist Martyn LeNoble, who married Applegate in February, confronted the paparazzo after he tried to take a photo of the Anchorman actress and their 2-year-old daughter at a birthday party in Studio City.
TMZ caught the aftermath of the incident, in which LeNoble is seen being patted down by police in the street.
He wasn't handcuffed or arrested, telling police that when he approached the photographer, the man "got physical" and "wouldn't back off", challenging him to a fight.
LeNoble was eventually released without further incident but is reportedly considering taking legal action against the offending paparazzo.
Applegate has previously branded the paparazzi "sick" for taking photos of her daughter Sadie Grace, saying she wants her to live a normal life.
