The Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls impresses guests with its professional and friendly staff, though some have encountered service inconsistencies. While the majestic views and spacious rooms are appreciated, travelers note that additional fees, along with underwhelming amenities, may impact the perceived value of their stay. While rooms are commended for comfort and views, some guests express concerns over cleanliness and dated decor. The location is generally seen as favorable, but opinions on its centrality vary.

Ill try to be as objective as i can since times are hard during Covid and i respect and support all businesses that are trying to survive and also provide job opportunities to people during these trying times. A few major disappointments:

a) 2 empty beer cans were left in the room in the cupboard below the coffee/tea making area. That makes me questions the hotels cleaning policies in general, but especially during Covid times.
b) I had to ask for a kettle (to warm my toddlers milk) 3 times until I got it. I kept getting different staff delivering a coffee machine twice before finally getting the kettle.
c) chair in room was stained and dirty. The staff were quick to respond by attempting to clean it but I asked for it to be removed and that was done promptly.
d) the worst one: someone else's hair all over the bathroom floor. The reason I didn't inform room service to come and clean is because i had spent a hefty amount of time (obv before noticing the hair) sanitizing the room with Lysol and i didn't want to have to do it all over again after having room service in the room.

Nonetheless, the staff around the hotel are friendly and hard working. I wish them all the best.

Its also fair to note that the view from the room is spectacular. We had the queen twin room on the 30th floor. The hotels location is great and walking distance from lots of restaurants, bars etc.

I would expect much higher services from a well known 4-star hotel. I hope you see my comments as useful and constructive. Also, pls ensure that the hand sanitizer dispenser by the elevators and pool is always full :)

Very efficient service; when asked for anything, it was promptly brought to the room; clean towel, coffee machine, toiletries, etc.

There is no room service; you make your own bed since they will not come into your room during your stay under pandemic times.

We stayed 5 days/4 nights in a premier room very spacious with table and 4 chairs, fridge, an alcove with minuscule screened window to hear the roaring falls and breath the misty air. The banquette sofa is uncomfortable and oddly situated.

The waiting time for the elevators is ridiculous considering the hotel was not at full capacity.

We were given 4 vouchers that included 2 complimentary wine/beer and free WEGO bus passes.

If you feel an item is missing, just ask and they will deliver such as; microwave, coffee machine.

A big tub separates the bathroom to the main living area with no privacy. it is a personal preference.

Hand sanitizer available at elevator lobby but not on each floor elevator. Self parking is next to the hotel premises and is 35$/day. Milestone and Starbucks restaurants were open.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt safe.

First time staying at the Marriott, we usually stay at the Hilton, but wanted to try somewhere different. Our family has been stuck indoors due to COVID and so we decided to head to Niagara for a few days. Our trip started off a little bumpy as there was some mix up with their reservation by the reservation agent we booked with over the phone and ultimately one of our two rooms was not showing up. Thankfully Dinesh and the hotel manager were able to make some arrangements so that my family and I would have rooms close together (30th and 31st floors). We stayed in a Superior Fallsview room #3119 and it was spectacular!!!! The views of the falls are amazing. The hotels is very modern and offers great amenities. We booked through Marriott reservations and we received a cheaper rate than advertised on the website so it might be worth your while to call reservations and compare prices. Our room rate gave us wine and beer tastings and we go passes.

There were a few hiccups during our stay and I must say the hotel staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating, they answered all of my questions and resolved any issues we had. There is a milestones and starbucks on site which is rather convenient and the wego transit stop that takes you to clifton hills and other sites was located outside of the hotel. My family and I were very concerned about travelling during a pandemic but the hotel takes every pre-caution to ensure the safety of guests and staff. House keeping does not service your room during your stay as part of safety measures but if you need anything they will bring it right away (towels, microwave etc). Please note that due to COVID all coffee machines have been removed from the rooms..but again there is starbucks :)

I cant wait to be back, it was the most relaxation I have experienced since COVID has turned our lives upside down.

Thank you to the front desk staff and management staff of Marriott for making our stay so memorable. I

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would stay here again. The view of the falls is amazing. Since it is the closest hotel to the falls it is also a bit of a walk to the falls pathway and tourist strip. But the benefit is that it is quiet. Parking is easy and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

A couple of minor drawbacks to mention. The room we had was a junior presidential suite, which was big and had a great falls view, but it was one of the open concept rooms (floors 12 and above) which has the TV awkwardly in the middle of the room. Little tricky navigating around in the middle of the night on the way to the washroom. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue, the room service tray and dirty dishes from the previous guest were left outside of our room all day and there were a couple of random empty beer bottles (left outside of rooms on our floor) that never got picked up.

We visited in first week of October. It was overcast in Niagara when we arrived, which obviously was not anyone's fault. We booked a Falls view room, and were initially given a room at the 16th floor. We asked if there are any upgrades available and we were offered a suite for $100, which we countered and settled at $75 upgrade fee.

Since this is our first time, obviously we would have wanted to see the Niagara Falls from our room, so we asked the front desk and she said "yes absolutely you can see the Falls!". We were then booked a suite at the 31st floor. When we stepped out of the elevator, we were greeted by white mist all around us. We couldn't see anything. Again the weather wasn't anybody's fault, but I really think that we would have been better off at the 16th floor with the weather we had, and we wish the concierge knew that when we inquired before proceeding with the upgrade.

The following day though, we had a bit of a clearing before we checked out so that was sort of a good thing. Bottom line, do not get a higher floor if it's not clear and blue skies- although I wonder what the views at 31st floor would be like when it's summer and sunny.

The room was large though, and the bathroom had a lot of room with the jacuzzi- we don't usually go on the tubs in hotels we go to but this one was very inviting so we just had to use it.

Parking is extra $35 a night, which I think is a median for Niagara Falls.

Milestones seem to be a pretty nice place to have brunch/dinner at but we did not try.

I'm wondering if we just mistakenly booked a Marriott property as we probably meant to go for the Marriot Fallsview as opposed to the Marriott On The Falls.

The wife and I decided to treat ourselves and spend a few days by the falls. It was a great/not so great experience.

Positive

1. The view from our room (30th floor) was spectacular.

2. The customer service at the hotel was great.

Negative

1. The room was NOT clean, we found garbage in the room (underneath the dresser)

2. The bathroom had pee stains around the toilet

3. The shower handle has pure soap scum (can be removed if cleaned properly)

4. The room we reserved wasn't even the room we got (the view we did get though kind of made up for it)

5. Fingerprints could be seen on our door, mirror in the room and mirror by the elevator.

I love Marriott and tend to use there hotels often when travelling, but if they are going to be slacking and cutting corners on cleaning ESPECIALLY during this pandemic I might have to consider going elsewhere. My safety and health come first, and I didn't feel like they were on the same page as far as there customers/guests were concerned. I even overheard another guest at front desk one day complaining about the exact same issues I mentioned above.

Two night stay during COVID. Mask compliance and social distanciation was respected throughout property. Average beige lobby (albeit with a Starbucks), small indoor pool and room service from Milestones. Our Superior King Room had a modern facelift in subtle hues of grey and white. Modern amenities and a huuuge tub that allowed us to watch tv (a big perk for our 7 year old!). A fab view of the falls, especially at night with the changing lights and color. Hotel is clean and comfy but lacks personality. Please note nothing was within walking distance so you will need to drive to Falls activities, Clifton Hill, Marineland , etc

We visit the falls for a night about once per month,

This was our first time staying at Marriot on the Falls.

The last 8 trips to the falls we have stayed across the street at the Marriot Fallsview, but after horrendous check in experiences , and always being charged a parking fee (when we didnt park there) we decided to try Marriot on the Falls to see how it compares to the Marriot Fallsview

The Marriot on the Falls check in was a breeze and the rooms were BETTER than the Fallsview rooms (more spacious, quiet and I prefer the view at this hotel)

We made requests which were granted within 15 min of entering rooms (we asked for additional amenities )

The location is great, staff knew what they were doing, there was not a chaotic touristy feel like the Fallsview Hotel has.

Its a beautiful hotel and we experienced no issues.

Overall it was a 10/10 experience and this is where we will return for our upcoming trips.

You can’t stay anywhere better for an amazing view of Horseshoe Falls! We stayed in the junior presidential suite on the 18th floor, and it was divine. We were mesmerized constantly by the daytime and nighttime spectacle of the falls. My husband loved it so much it was hard to get him to leave the room!

The suite is large, airy, with viewing chairs right in front of the wall to wall windows with gorgeous views of the falls—front and center!

The shower was hot with great water pressure and the suite also had a jacuzzi tub. It was quiet and off to the side. Kitchenette and fridge on site as well.

Staff was wonderful! Everyone so kind and accommodating! Brought me two down comforters when I asked for extra blankets. Always answered me quickly on chat. Room service was spectacular. The restaurant food was great and delivered in a timely fashion. We wanted to enjoy our food right in front of our unbeatable view. We also enjoyed two bottles of wine!

Valet parking is 45 a day (35 for self park). Fast and attentive.

The restaurant on site (reviewed separately) had good food and a great breakfast bar! All you can eat for around 30 dollars I think (because I’m a Bonvoy ambassador, ours were complimentary, but the bill would have been around 58 dollars). But it would be worth it! Hot bar, bagel bar, juice bar, omelet station, and more!

And again, please give credit to Rosemary, our server who took care of us all day and all evening on the Saturday we stayed (3/5/22). She was amazing, and even called to check on us and our room service dinner before she went off shift that night. She deserves special recognition.

I can’t rave enough about this hotel. They went above and beyond and gave my husband and I a perfect weekend we will cherish forever!

We stayed Thursday through Saturday, two kid and two adults. We booked a family suite (2 br, 1 king + 2 queens).
We were on the 24th floor and do not recommend this floor as there’s a platform so the view is obstructed. A disappointment considering we paid a premium for a view. When we called within a few minutes of arriving; they said they’d call back to let us know if they could move us but after a half hour waiting we got unpacked. We didn’t want to waste more time.

They ended up offering a credit of $35.

The pool was a good size with lots of towels available and both times we used it, nobody else was there. They are checking vaccine passports although someone unvaccinated could easily also enter the pool area.

The hotel is walking distance to the falls (about 25 minutes with a 3 year old in tow).

There’s no fridge on the room unless you request it.

WiFi is $15.95 per night.

Overall the hotel was nice but I had higher expectations for the price point.
