She pokes fun at beauty commercials - and men's supposed inability to look women in the eye - in the video.

Cotillard first appears in a black turtle neck fluttering her eyes at the camera as she says: 'In America, anything is possible. It's the land of opportunity, a place where dreams come true.

'But women in America must still deal with sexual objectification wherever they go, especially in the work place.'

She is then seen walking down a corridor with a passing male colleague blatantly staring at her chest.

And then she is seen in an office with Entourage star William Fichtner, who makes a gesture towards her breasts as she points to her eyes instead.

Cotillard then says: 'But French women have known for centuries that to earn a man's respect you must make him look you in the eyes.'
