This restaurant provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Salem Public Library. If you have never tried Chinese and Italian cuisines, you should reserve a table and try the menu at Marco Polo Global Restaurant. The cooks here prepare tasty sweet & sour chicken, salmon and hot & sour soup. It's worth coming to this place for good chocolate cakes, biscuits and brownies. You will hardly forget delicious wine, martinis or beer that you can enjoy. Get your meal started with great tea or good americano.
This spot is good for people who have supper in a hurry as they can order dishes as a takeaway. The success of this restaurant would be impossible without the accommodating staff. Terrific service is something visitors appreciate here. You are to be pleasantly impressed with adequate prices at Marco Polo Global Restaurant. Amazing food! Amazing gluten free options and Amazing customer centered care Dietary restrictions: Had a good variety of different food options and when the waiter found out we had gluten free needs for people with us, he made sure to let us know if an item was not gluten free or not including soy sauce. From outside, the Marco Polo Global Restaurant seemed intimidating. Though not opening for another ten minutes, we were seated immediately. I felt very refined eating at Marco Polo Global Restaurant. The restaurant gave off the impression of being extremely elegant and expensive; however, though it was an excellent restaurant, it was not too pricey. The service was excellent, and our server was polite and efficient, repeating our orders back to us before leaving the table. Our table itself had a beautiful view out the window, looking down on a little park. I was quite pleased to be offered the choice of a vegetarian menu. Though the menu was smaller than the regular one, it still had dozens of delicious choices. After waffling back and forth between a fried rice or the samosas, I chose the samosas, and was glad. The food came only minutes after our order was placed. Unlike some restaurants, which give the impression of serving unfresh food when the service is quick, Marco Polo Global Restaurant clearly was cooking the food to order, and the chefs were just very quick. I was pretty happy with the efficiency of the restaurant, since it is hard to find. The samosas I ordered were perfect. Served on a slip of parchment or wax paper over a white plate, they were golden, crisp, and hot. Unlike some samosas, which are a difficult shape for eating, these were tidy and conveniently shaped for biting and dipping. The filling was delicious, with potatoes, onions, and corn kernels. Each of the flavors blended perfectly with the sauce. This sauce was perhaps the highlight of the meal. It was sweet and tangy with a little kick of spice. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Marco Polo Global Restaurant, and I hope someday to return.
