We have always enjoyed our visits to Paradiso’s. Robin is always a delight as well as the other staff. The food has never disappointed us and is some of the best in Salem.

We celebrated a lovely birthday dinner. Nice ambiance, elegant setting. We especially enjoyed the fried calamari with tossed with chimichurri sauce and the bruschetta appetizers. The cioppino, linguine with scampi and filet minion were excellent as well. We had a wonderful hostess and the restaurant felt special - a perfect special occasion spot. We will definitely be back to try other menu items.

We went at 7 PM on a Saturday night. We picked a night where they had a big party downstairs(didn't know had downstairs). We were told that the kitchen was slammed and our order might take some time. I appreciated that as with a group of 18 that had prior reservations at Geppeto's in February we got our order 1 hour 45 minutes with less explanation.

Service was outstanding, food was very well prepared and presented (crab cakes, clams Provençal, steak teres major, potatoes gratin, perfect creme brûlée), excellent martinis, wines and Spanish coffee. We’ll be back soon.

Love this restaurant! From the tasty amuse bouche to the delicious dessert- everything is beautifully served and delicious. The service is warm and attentive. The flavours and elegance of the food at Paradiso are comparable to Michelin restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at, though at Paradiso there are more generous portions and at far less cost.!

The Paradiso was a classy looking restaurant and the service was prompt and friendly. However, neither my husband or I liked our food much. It wasn’t gross but just ok for an above ok price.

Most of the food was great. Steak was barely cooked but large. The drinks were amazing. Portion size was small for appetizers and sides. Spent over $200 for dinner for 2. More on the spendy side.

The menu on the web site was nothing like the menu presented in the restaurant. They had run out of chicken!!!! Service was slow only 2 people doing all service and bar. I loved this restaurant but this night they missed the mark.

I wonderful restaurant for a date night or special occasion. The flavors were amazing, all put together with a beautiful presentation. Would even be a fun place just to go for drinks and appetizers… We will definitely be back soon.

Temperature in the restaurant was cold! Kept our coats on the entire time we were there. Food was exceptional, except the green bean casserole which didn’t have the quality as the rest of the meal.

The BEST food in Salem, hands down. Came for our 2nd Valentines dinner in a row, but this year didn’t live up to last. Made reservations 4 months ahead of date. Confirmed via text, and app, and phone call (!) While on the phone, specifically asked for a booth rather than a table. The friendly employee told me they go to whomever reserves first - aha, it was me! She said she’d make a note of saving me a booth. We showed up at exactly 6 pm and see an empty booth. Hostess asks us if we’d like to wait at the bar while they clean the table and we say sure since it’s a very small space and there is no waiting area to speak of. Husband and I ordered amazing drinks and got to chatting. I turned around after finishing my drink to see every single booth turned over with new people and none for us! The hostess clearly forgot she told us to wait at the bar and gave our table away. She did apologize (without admitting she forgot us, just that the other people “were there first” 45 minutes after our reservation time and they had been nowhere to be seen in the small space) and asked if we would like a center table or continue to wait for a booth, but it would be 20-25 more minutes. It was just so disappointing! I LOVE this restaurant. I had been looking forward to this date with my husband for months. I’m a poorly paid teacher and had to budget for it. Hubs and I still had a great meal and time together once we got seated, but it was a disappointing and frustrating experience. Also, no sommelier this year - I asked our waitress a couple of questions about the wine and she shrugged and said she had no idea. She also forgot to bring me two of them and had to be asked, and they didn’t arrive with the food either. Overall, because the food is so spectacular, it’s still a 4-star for me and my fave. I won’t come on Valentine’s Day again though.

Absolutely amazing dinners! Wife had the brussels and a salad, little had the lobster fettuccine and I had the filet. All three were amazing and all that my knife needed was to rest on top of my steak to fall through it. Best Steak Value and masterfully cooked. Without a doubt this is a go to special place that can even hold up to a random mid-week delight. Keep it up, we'll be back!!

The only thing that makes this review less than perfect is the fact that it was FREEZING the entire time of our dinner. Literally every customer kept their coats on for the 2+ hours we were there. The food was absolutely amazing! For the price range offered by this restaurant, it seems like the temperature should at least be comfortable for the patrons.

Food was amazing! I had chicken Marsala and the chicken breast was one of the largest I’ve ever been served. It was tender and juicy and the sauce was delicious without being overpowering. Served with roasted potatoes seasoned perfectly and the carrots were delicious. My husbands steak was also huge and the sauce served with it were delicious as well. There was one server for the entire place and it was full. However she kept up at (for us) a leisurely pace and never lost her smile. Overall, the perfect family birthday dinner!

Vibrant, stylish place for a higher-end special occasion. Food is well prepared and the service is friendly and helpful. The room is small and some tables, especially for two diners, are a little to close to others and the bar. Reservations strongly recommended.

Everything from service to food to ambience was amazing! Our group had oysters and crab cakes for an appetizer, delicious. Our entrees were shrimp scampi (large prawns), petite waygu steak, lobster fettuccine (huge chunks of lobster, tender and moist) and T-bone steak. We enjoyed wine and laughs with our friends. Wonderful experience. Definitely looking forward to another dinner there.

There was a lot of foot traffic - people coming in the front door to see if there were open tables. This created a draft and could have been avoided if a sign was placed on the outside of the door stating, "full tonight - reservations only". Clearly it is popular, but I think on the night we went, maybe over worked. We had to wait an hour between the bread and the entrees. Still, not many choices in Salem - I will go back for sure.

An appealing space with prompt seating and attention from staff. Wine list needs to be in bold print. It's difficult to read in available light. A bit limited, the list is adequate for the menu. Opening crabcakes and dessert of warm chocolate chip cookie and ice cream were both excellent. Minuses: 1. cocktail bourbon was watered down. 2. beet salad not memorable. 3. We both had petite filets. My wife's was not flavorful. Mine, ordered medium, was unevenly cooked. An asymmetric cut, it was medium well on the thin end, medium in the thicker middle section and medium rare to rare at the center of the end (thickest) section. Dessert of warm chocolate chip cookie and ice cream was excellent. We will try them again because of the space and the staff, but order something other than beef.
