I have been to Marco polo restaurant for Buffet/Dim Sum during the week end many times - friends/relatives - Food reasonable well - Service -8/10 - good enough - during the weekend - is pack with people...there's a reason/still some complaining bout the taste/services - as for me - during the weekend - the place is pack with people - so even with another 10 or more - it doesn't do any good - human traffic jam - this Restaurant Open its door to the Public for more than 40 years - still standing - Why - there must be a reason...Love to wait for the door to Open -

Expensive steam 筍殼魚 (English night be Bamboo Shell Fish) was over cooked! We only eat little bit but feels very hard like plastic cannot be swallow, direct complaint and return whole fish to manager - old women with short perm hair, she was dark face and never apologized! We still have to pay amount for this over cooked steam fish in expensive total bill ! Terrible with this kind of services! I was too angry and Regret that forgot take picture to show on TripAdvisor!

This is one of the more popular dim sum restaurants around KL. We had heard about this for quite some time but never got around to trying it... were very glad we tried the dim sum.

To get tables it is helpful to arrive early. Located in Lim Foo Yong building, the restaurant has undergone recent renovations and to us did not look 'too gloomy' unlike previous reviews.

The service was quite good, attentive and fun in a casual, Cantonese kind of way. The dim sum and the buns were well made and quite traditional in a Kuala Lumpur way. We enjoyed the visit, the food was tasty and I would definitely bring my friends and family again.

Went there coz it is next to our Hotel, the Holiday Inn City Center. Deco dated, staff friendly. Tim sum was the push cart version, not many trolley. One for steam, one for fried and one dessert. Some of the items we request need 15 mins waiting time coz they run out. Good for a quick lunch, place not really crowded on a weekday lunch hour.

Entering it's a bit gloomy and certainly more of an "old establishment" feel about it. It was not overcrowded so service was quick if somewhat " take it or leave it" with little or no smiles and welcome touches!
Dim sum, also "old style" with trolled but tasty and authentic. Not a bad experience but not noteworthy either!
