Hollywood actress-singer Mandy Moore recently announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Taylor Goldsmith via an Instagram post. Moore posted three black-and-white photos wherein she can be seen standing alongside a smiling Goldsmith, who is cradling her baby bump. She captioned the pictures, “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021.”
Mandy Moore married Taylor Goldsmith, a musician with his own band, in November 2018, after dating him for two years. In 2019, Moore gushed about Goldsmith in an interview with Glamour magazine. She admitted that Goldsmith makes her "melt" and that she could not imagine a better partner than him. The This Is Us actress Moore also went on to say, “He’s going to be the most tremendous father. I view the past as a stepping-stone to get me where I am today. I would gladly weather all of that a million times over if it brought me to Taylor again.”
Previously, Moore was married to singer Ryan Adams and divorced him in 2016. Reportedly, the reason for the split was Adam’s “psychologically abusive” behaviour and manipulative tendencies.

The actress’ pregnancy announcement came hours after it was reported that she has resumed shooting for the fifth season of her hit NBC family drama This Is Us. The show’s creator, Dan Fogelman, tweeted a photo from the show’s sets that featured a visibly pregnant Mandy Moore sporting a mask and standing six feet apart from co-star and TV husband, Milo Ventimiglia. Fogelman also wrote a funny caption describing the picture: “A 2020 television sex scene. We’re back. #ThisIsUs.”

Within hours, Moore’s Instagram post had garnered around 652K likes and 13.9K comments. Many celebrities also congratulated Mandy Moore on her pregnancy. Actress-singer Hillary Duff commented, “Little baby boy Goldsmith”. Shazam! Actor Zachary Levi also expressed his happiness on Moore’s pregnancy by commenting, “All. The. YESSSSSS!!!”
Mandy Moore’s This Is Us co-stars also extended their good wishes to the actor-singer. Moore’s reel-life daughter-in-law, Susan Kelechi Watson, wrote, “Baby's comingggggg.” Furthermore, Chrissy Metz, who plays Moore’s onscreen daughter, commented, “The Goldsmith Three!”
