- Michael OSunshine Coast, Australia279 contributionsLoved itWe went for the extra level here, express lane access, glass bottom cable car and the little mono rail at the top. Due to the warm time of year we made sure we were there at 0930 to get the first few cable cars up. Worked out well as we were ahead of the crowd which grew quickly during the morning. Had a great experience and highly recommend the attraction. Go early.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 12, 2023
- Vaishali LimayePune, India167 contributionsGo via natures trail- to avoid long queuesWe went down to the sky bridge via the natures trail. Its a 10-15mins walk down to the bridge. Remember they charge you to go to the Bridge. The sky glide is always crowded with long queues to go down and come up. So if you are fit just walk down the trail (Which is also chargeable) The sky bridge has a stunning view of the panoramic view of the forest and then on to the ocean. We spent some good time walking up and down the bridge before we headed back. Remember you cannot take water bottle and food up. And there are not too many food options there. We took the glass floor skycab which was amazingVisited May 2023Written May 30, 2023
- Akshay N14 contributionsSuper Place..dont miss itAmazing view of hlls, ocean, islands.....A must visit place. The beauty of the place is all natural with no human interference. - Julie A15 contributionsGo nice and Early to avoid the crowdsGo Early in the morning and you'll practically have the bridge to yourselves! We didn't bother with any of the village gimmicky shops as were a couple in our 60's travelling without kids so went straight to the bridge as soon as it opened and avoided the crowds.. I was lovely and peaceful. it's not huge but worth the trip as the views are fabulous. You don't need to book this trip through a company as an excursion. just go by grab and buy a ticket from the booth.Visited April 2023Written July 14, 2023
- sankaranarayanaBengaluru, India152 contributionsExcellent Adventrue.Very big adventure trip. How the Engineers build the rope rail - cannot imagine. All the staffs in the Sky Bridge, very much smiling and co-operative. We booked the ticket in online, but our QR code not coming properly. REported to teh Customer Service, one lady by name Nacy, immediately attended - call several numbers and given the band for enter into the sky bridge. Really, we thank and appreciate the Engineers who build up such a wonderful rail rope.Visited July 2023Traveled with friendsWritten August 30, 2023
- Haytham Abu FirasQatar14,466 contributionsAfter SkyCabAfter SkyCab, continue going to the top for about 10 minutes in an uneven step or use elevator for extra fees. Beautiful Langkawi from the top. You can step on Bottom Glass Observatory Deck if you are courageous enough. Read about faunas and plantations in this area. Very loud sounds of birds. Beware of monkeys. Amazing view and visit.Visited September 2023Traveled with friendsWritten September 28, 2023
- Chris ENewport, United Kingdom40 contributionsInto the cloudsWe went with friends on 13th November. Weather when we went up on the cable car was clear and had great views from the middle station. By the time we had queued to to get to the top station the cloud had moved in and by the time we got to the sky bridge it was shrouded in cloud. It was still an amazing experience and the cable car is amazing as it is very steep in parts. For anyone planning a visit I would suggest getting there as early as possible and make buying an express lane ticket a ‘must have’. We had to queue for a long time at the middle station and again to come down. Queues for the sky glide to the sky bridge were over an hour so we took the nature path down and came back on the sky glide as it was quite a climb back.Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten November 13, 2023
- YusriMalaysia4 contributionsWonderful placeI have been to this wonderful place many times and I recommend everyone to visit it. The air at the top is really fresh, the bridge itself is quite long, and the feeling of being up there is interesting. But the most beautiful thing is the views that open up on this bridge.Visited April 2023Traveled soloWritten January 9, 2024
- Emma ELapta, Cyprus6 contributionsLovely Views!Lovely views, paid for glass bottom gondola but you have to wait long as not many, so don't recommend this! Bridge lovely but have to walk or get the tram thing down or up but huge queues. Waited in that line for 30 mins as thought it was line for the bridge, no one directing you so was a bit chaotic!! Walked to bridge and back which is challenging (and i go to the gym everyday!! Enjoyed experience but whole thing needs better direction, signs and organisation! Think best after 2pm when coaches have all left.Visited January 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten January 19, 2024
- L1M2Edinburgh, United Kingdom18 contributionsMust see, but go early! My advice to anyone planning on going is get up and go for it opening! We used grab and got there for 9.30am, and were amongst the first group of people going up. It was great. You get cable car up to fist viewing platform, then back on again and continue up to the second area. You then have an option to walk down some stairs to get to the bridge, or pay to use the sky glide. We opted for the second option, because we had our little girl with us. At the time we were there, there was no queue for this at all. Plenty of opportunities to buy snacks and water when you are on the way up as they do not allow you to carry anything loose in your hands, you have to leave things behind. We left our stroller and bottles of water at the gondola station and collected when we came back down. Parts of the bridge we had to ourselves, stunning scenery from the bridge, really impressive. Must see if in Langkawi. On the way back down to the village we were watching the crowds of people gather waiting to go up. We even had a gondola to ourselves without paying the extra money for it. We also didn't use any online websites or tour operators to book we just bought the tickets when we arrived.Visited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 31, 2024

The ticket for the cable car comes in a package and at a stipulated time. There are other attractions that you can visit at the park. The “Trick Eye” museum was pretty good and we had fun doing crazy poses. The other attractions were lame and not well maintained. The ride was nice and the view would depend on how cloudy or sunny it is on the day you visit the place.

Key points: get there early (as close to the opening time as possible) and, if you can, pay the extra for either a glass bottom gondola or the express lane. Go to the skybridge quickly in order to get best pics, but note no opportunity on way down to stop at first station.
More detail: arrive as close to opening time as you can. Pay to be able to jump the queues (express ticket, glass bottom or VIP gondola). Stop at the first station briefly (as you cannot get off on the way down) and take pictures on the cantilever viewing platform. Then head straight to the top and get your ticket for the sky bridge and head straight there (either on the nature walk or by the skybus thing). This way you will be one of only a few and will get great pics. Then walk back slowly through the nature walk and explore the top (second station) before heading back down. Then spend time at the bottom looking at such things as the 3D art (really good!) and 4D short film (needs recalibrating). Food choice is wide and reasonable in price. Lots of taxis avail at exit (including Grab taxis).

A manager who tries to rip you off because you're not told it's just a cash payment. We're going to get you down and try to get you paid a second time. A manager who says he understands the situation but does nothing to fix it. When you are downstairs you are told that it is not possible to buy the tickets and you have to go back up but to go back up you are made to pay the good joke. This band of liars tells you that a mistake has been made that it says that and nowhere is this information there. When I ask the stupid manager to show me the information of these lying colleagues he does not know how to answer. He doesn't know how to answer because this incompetent is not in a position to do his job properly for which he is paid. Just good at staying behind his computer. For others before they try to scam you please plan cash when you are up because this band of incompetent will not know how to give you this information.

Tickets at the top of the Sky Cab to access the Sky Bridge are RM6, for the nature walk. You need to be relatively fit as the steps are quite steep, and everything seems more effort in 35 degree heat!
We had arrived early in the day and it was quite quiet. Lovely spots to take photos and be amazed at the engineering masterpiece. There are a few glass panels on walkway to look directly down. I didn't see any adults stand on them, but the kids had no fear and ran across. Even if you are nervous about heights, I recommend you try it as bridge feels very stable - and you don't have to look down!

It's a must-visit but avoid the place during weekends. Come as early as possible (9 am) to avoid large crowd. However, the view up here is worth the queue.
Locals have to pay RM6 for admission ticket and an extra RM10 to use the Skyglide. I opted for a hike down through the nature trail which took roughly 5 minutes to the bridge. The signage for the skybridge and skyglide was a little confusing, there's no mention that we need to pay extra to go to the Skybridge, hence I can understand why some people here complain about it.

We attempted to visit earlier in the day but the bridge was closed due to high winds. So we rang the helpline number later on to find out whether the bridge was open and we were in luck. Efficient ticket booths operate for the gondola - different prices for Malaysian v’s Tourists. We chose to walk over to the bridge rather than take the sky glide - the walk is fine lots of stairs, uneven in places but good to do. The Bridge is a feat of engineering. Amazing views but I was glad to be back at the bottom !

If you're taking the Skycab then don't miss the Skybridge. It only costs a few extra Ringits, although the queue to get on the train can be long. There only seemed to be one train on a single track which couldn't keep up with demand.. Early morning is probably best if you can.

The views are beautiful after getting out of the cable car, thus the sky bridge wasn’t completely necessary- if you want to save some money and/or the slight trek (about ten minutes in the hot sun and a lot of steps...you could take a lift there but we opted to do the walk). We were lucky and the skies were clear so that made for really nice scenery. Also I would recommend going early to avoid queues and people traffic.

Great day trip and a must do. ge prepared to line up for 30 to 50 minutes to get on to the chair lift . Seperate ticket to be purchased for sky bridge and narrow stone and concrete steps to get to to bridge can get crowded and inconsiderate people stopping and sitting on steps dont help. But the view is worth the trip.

Take a trip up on the Cable car to then get a ticket to walk on the sky bridge. The only single pylon suspension bridge 660m above sea level !
It cost just 6 ringet pp (@£1:20) walk down through the natural forest, watch the monkeys in the trees, quite steep steps, then you reach the bridge.
Fantastic photo opportunity for the views are spectacular.
There are a few glass panels on the floor of the bridge too, where you can see directly beneath you !
It’s fun, but you have to be fit....the climbing of the stairs back up is not easy.

Also, you can get a taxi from Langkawi Beach to the Sky Cab - Skybridge and ask them to wait for you. It could cost (negotiate)) RM150, 4 hours wait, which is worth it. If you have spare time go to check out the Big Eagle on the way back. The Oriental Village at the top is not worth wasting time and money.

No prediction on record. Could be by thousands of fun-loving people that love to rest, relax and re-charge and enjoy the sun, sea and sandy island.
I have a toddler with me and I have to carry her baby food and drink for her. Is it allowed to carry those in the cab? What if she is hungry or thirsty within the 15 minutes of ride or if she feel scared what will be the solution to distract her?

Hi,
I think the sky cab is fine to take a baby. The view is amazing and if they get scared it’s just less than five minutes and there is pit stop station you can get off before you get to the top.
I would take to the top and see views. But not to go to sky bridge which is an extra 15 minutes steep
Waking to get to after the you reach the top
Of the sky can ride. So yes to sky cab ride but not to crossing the bridge. Hope that helps.

Yes there are.
Is the cable car the only way to get to the sky bridge or can we drive there by motorcycle and skip the cable car and oriental village? We just want to see the sky bridge and maybe the 3d museum. If we cannot skip the cable car, what would be the cheapest ticket (since we are budget globetrotter) to reach the sky bridge and at which place would be the entrance which we can enter in google maps? :)

Yes cable car is the only way, it’s all like hills and no way for cars to get up there.
