Joe Biden's son Hunter and his ex-wife had three children together: Naomi, Finnegan, and Maisy.
Hunter also fathered a 4-year-old named Navy with a former stripper.

Until recently, President Joe Biden said that he had six grandchildren, telling reporters at a White House "Take Your Child To Work Day" event in April: "I'm crazy about them. And I speak to them every single day. Not a joke," according to USA Today.

On July 28, Biden publicly acknowledged a seventh grandchild for the first time — a 4-year-old daughter named Navy fathered by his son Hunter Biden in 2018.

Biden's grandchildren call him "Pop."

In a video interview for the 2020 Democratic National Convention, Naomi said Biden calls his grandchildren every day and always picks up their calls "no matter where he is."

"He adores being a grandfather," Biden's daughter Ashley told the "Today" show in 2021. "He is so happy, even with the chaos and everything he has on his shoulders ... that gives him such joy."

Biden's oldest grandchild, Naomi Biden, held her wedding at the White House on November 19, 2022.

Naomi, 29, studied international relations at the University of Pennsylvania (where she was classmates with Tiffany Trump) and graduated from Columbia Law School in 2020. She works as an associate attorney at Arnold & Porter, a law firm in Washington, DC.

She and husband Peter Neal held their wedding on the South Lawn of the White House on November 19. It was the 19th White House wedding in history.

"Peter and I are endlessly grateful to my Nana and Pop for the opportunity to celebrate our wedding at the White House," Naomi tweeted in April 2022. "We can't wait to make our commitment to one another official and for what lies ahead."

<p>Finnegan, 22, <a href="https://web.sas.upenn.edu/earthdayproject/about/">graduated from Penn in 2021</a>, earning a degree in history with a concentration in American studies. While in college, she was involved in several causes, participating in an Earth Day project for Penn's Climate Week program and <a href="https://www.34st.com/article/2020/04/pass-fail-remote-learning-upenn-ivy-league-academics">successfully campaigning the administration</a> to extend the school's pass/fail grading option deadline.</p>

Naomi's younger sister Finnegan also attended the University of Pennsylvania.

Finnegan, 22, graduated from Penn in 2021, earning a degree in history with a concentration in American studies. While in college, she was involved in several causes, participating in an Earth Day project for Penn's Climate Week program and successfully campaigning the administration to extend the school's pass/fail grading option deadline.

She accompanied Jill Biden to King Charles III's coronation in May.

<p>Maisy and Sasha both played on their high school basketball team, the Vipers. On an episode of Dax Shepard's <a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/3ou7K5MaAnebFxp9yXDnjH">"Armchair Expert" podcast</a>, former president Barack Obama told Shepard and co-host Monica Padman that Maisy was "like the LeBron of the league."</p><p>"She dominated," he said. "She was great, you know, and we went undefeated. The Vipers ruled."</p><p>Maisy <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9yoi0lRrro">told TODAY in 2021</a> that Biden came to every game that he could make it to.</p><p>"It was always funny seeing him show up when I was like 'I think I just saw you on TV about 30 minutes ago, how did you just end up here?'" she said. "And he was like 'Don't worry, I knew it was a big game today.' Maisy Biden, a talented basketball player, is close friends with Sasha Obama.

Maisy and Sasha both played on their high school basketball team, the Vipers. On an episode of Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast, former president Barack Obama told Shepard and co-host Monica Padman that Maisy was "like the LeBron of the league."

"She dominated," he said. "She was great, you know, and we went undefeated. The Vipers ruled."

Maisy told "Today" in 2021 that Biden came to every game that he could make it to.

Natalie Biden turned 18 last summer and joined her grandfather to vote for the first time in the midterm elections.

Biden took Natalie to visit the University of Pennsylvania in October, the Daily Mail reported. She graduated from high school in May and will attend the University of Pennsylvania in the fall, according to AP News.

<p>Hunter's confirmation took place in April at Saint Joseph on the Brandywine Church, the Catholic church <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2021/01/21/beau-biden-grave-viral-photo-why-delaware-reporter-took-picture/4243329001/">where his father Beau is buried</a>.</p>

Natalie's younger brother, 17-year-old Robert "Hunter" Biden, is named for his uncle.

Hunter's confirmation took place in April at Saint Joseph on the Brandywine Church, the Catholic church where his father Beau is buried.

He attended church with Biden in Rehoboth Beach, where the president and first lady have a vacation home, in July.

<p>In May 2019, Roberts filed a paternity suit claiming that Hunter was the father of her child born in August 2018, which Hunter denied. In November 2019, the <a href="https://www.arkansasonline.com/news/2019/nov/20/dna-test-shows-hunter-biden-father-arkansas-womans/">Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported</a> DNA tests had confirmed "with scientific certainty," that Hunter was the father of the baby.</p><p>The <a href="https://media.arkansasonline.com/news/documents/2019/11/20/191119_Motion_to_Seal_02578_cwl_cwl2X.pdf">baby's identity was sealed</a> by an Arkansas circuit court as a protective measure. In May 2019, Lunden Roberts filed a paternity suit claiming that Hunter was the father of her child born in August 2018, which Hunter denied. In November 2019, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported DNA tests had confirmed "with scientific certainty" that Hunter was the father of the baby.

The baby's identity was sealed by an Arkansas circuit court as a protective measure. Hunter and Roberts reached a settlement in March 2020.

In April 2021, Roberts' attorney told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that Hunter had not met the child, nor had the president and first lady, and filed a contempt motion claiming Hunter withheld evidence and and ignored the court's previous rulings. They reached another settlement in June 2023.

In his memoir "Beautiful Things," Hunter wrote that he had "no recollection" of his encounter with Roberts, writing that "the other women I'd been with during rampages since my divorce were hardly the dating type. We would satisfy our immediate needs and little else."

He added: "I was a mess, but a mess I've taken responsibility for."

Biden publicly acknowledged that he has seventh grandchildren for the first time in a statement to People magazine on July 28, saying that "Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy." He added that Hunter and Roberts are "working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter."
