I bought this for a friend for Christmas, he's been looking everywhere for it and stores just aren't carrying it anymore in our area. (It's possible the movie may also be, out-of-print.) There were some deep scratches on the disc, which made me worry if it was gonna play or have trouble playing somewhere during the movie. My friend really liked the gift and said it played all the way through. The dvd and the case were not stored properly though, and the neglect of care really showed.

Fun movie for David Spade fans, but not really that funny to the average viewer. As a fan of David Spade I like this movie enough to watch it when I get really bored, but my husband who is not a fan of David Spade does not like it much at all. The humor is what you would expect from a David Spade movie, and is comparable to your standard Adam Sandler film. Loose plot, comedy can be a bit toilet humor at times but not too bad. Great inclusion of a Neil Diamond song in a movie, and one is forced to give a little giggle here and there. Not bad if you haven't seen it and have 2 hours to kill.

David Spade in a good comedy with a tad bit of a 90s hang-over. This movie is funny for its time and still has some original humor. In my opinion I think this movie was the last of an era in which movies were still good comedy without all the nudity, crass humor, and obscene profanity. My younger teenage kids enjoyed the film, especially because of the dog! This movie was made for adults but in today’s level of crude humor, I think it can be viewed with the whole family for its take with innocent humor.

ソフィーのFan Fanを見てこの映画を知ったわけだが、見てひどくがっかりした。監督、俳優(ソフィーを含む)共にこの映画に対する情熱が感じられない。映画を安く仕上げようという意図を見ていてたびたび感じた。映画Fan Fanから引っ張ってきたと思われるシーンが少なくとも二つはあった。

映画を安く仕上げようという意図はけして悪いわけではない、悪いのはそれをオウディエンスに感じさせたということで、それはつまり映画に対する情熱がないということだと思う。
