The duo found themselves at odds after Kanye cut one of Soulja Boy's verses from the final version of his Donda record.

But Kanye, 44, revealed he had apologized on Tuesday when he shared a screenshot of a text convo between the rappers that began: 'Yo it's Ye. Love you bro. I should have told you I wasn't gonna use the verse.'

Soulja Boy, 31, seemed happy to accept, writing back: 'Love you too bro. That's all I wanted.'

Later on the Crank That (Soulja Boy) hitmaker took to Twitter to joke: 'I was the first rapper to get an apology from Kanye West.'

The Let Me Get Em rapper struck a different tone as he blasted the hip hop legend just hours after Donda came out on August 29th.

'Idk how to feel, Kanye sent me that song "remote control" and I don't hear my verse on it. Hmm f**k that n****a,' he tweeted.

'This n****a Kanye smh. Tell homie don't hit my phone anymore.'

According to the lyrics posted on Genius, Young Thug is a featured artist on Remote Control, credited with rapping in verse two, and a pre-chorus and chorus. Thug (born Jeffery Lamar Williams) is also credited as one of the nine songwriters.

He would go on to call Kanye a 'time waster' and 'coward', when he talked to TMZ about getting cut from the song Remote Control off Donda.

He said: 'I don't care how he feel, you could have called me before the leak and said: "This is the reason you didn't make the album". Don't have me reading it on social media and you saying it's because of your label...

'Call me personally, like you called me personally to put me on the record. My whole thing is don't waste my time. You reached out to me because I'm doing good'.

Despite feeling like he wasted his time with the collaboration, Soulja (born DeAndre Cortez Way) revealed that's he's still open to working with him in the future.

Not long after Donda, named after West's late mother Donda West, dropped, West took to his Instagram page and accused his record company of releasing it without his permission.

'Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked Jail 2 from being on the album,' he wrote.

Representatives with Universal reportedly told Variety that the allegations are 'preposterous.'
