Easiest countries to get a Schengen visa for
Schengen refers to the passport-free zone that covers most of the European countries, which have common visa policies and include around 26 European countries. As per the reports, a visa holder can enjoy a stay in any country in the Schengen area for up to 90 days in 6 months. However, one needs to note that when applying for a Schengen visa, not all countries issue the visa easily. While some receive a huge number of visa applications, others receive less number of applications, depending on which the rejection rate varies.
So, if you are planning for a European holiday, here’s a list of easiest countries to get a Schengen visa for.

Switzerland
Switzerland is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the world, and is famed for the beautiful Swiss Alps and breathtaking landscape. And, with a lesser number of rejection rates, you can easily plan a Swiss trip without much thinking.

Finland
Known for being the world’s happiest country, Finland is also famous as the country of a thousand lakes. With less rejection rate, getting a visa shouldn’t be a concern. However, you will have to make sure that you have overseas insurance for medical emergencies to get your application accepted.

Iceland
With a rejection rate of just 12% if a visa is applied from the New Delhi consulate, chances are that you will get an Iceland tourist visa easily. This is also because since the country receives less visa applications, this country is also a good option to get a visa to the Schengen area.

Estonia
This is another Baltic country for which a visa is easier to get. As per the records of 2018 rejection rates, just 1.6% of applications lodged at the Estonian embassies abroad were rejected, whereas the rest were granted access with a short-term visa to the Schengen Area. Plus, since this Schengen country gets less visa applications, chances are bright that its embassies are less crowded.

Luxembourg
The tiny landlocked country is also another option to gain access to Schengen, especially if you are keen to visit its neighboring countries, such as Belgium, Germany, and France. If we go by the reports, it has a rejection rate of only 3.7%. Surprisingly, it’s also the country that receives the least applications.

Latvia
It’s another Schengen country from which it’s easier to get a visa to Schengen. If we go by the reports, with 97.9% of the applications received, only 2.1% rejected, which also means that you have a bright chance to get a visa from this country.
Lithuania
This country is the easiest one to get a Schengen visa. As per the reports, officials grant visas to almost 98.7% of applicants. Lithuania also receives fewer applications unlike other popular countries, such as France and Germany, which also means that if you are applying for a visa for this country, you will have a shorter wait time for an appointment.

Belgium
There is a 5.55% rejection rate if you apply for a visa for this country. This means that you have high chances to get a Belgium visa easily. This country is best known for its drinks and food, whereas chocolates, Belgium waffles, and beer attract tons of tourists from across the world. Bordered by Germany, Netherlands, France, and Luxembourg, this place boasts of rich cultural heritage and offers visitors options to explore its many beautiful historic cities.
