Sandra D Mutual confusion leads to mutual support as the two parallel the trials of life, knowing we can help each other through. She has gut wisdom, and what she tells him becomes a mantra for self. I found it compelling. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/11/23 Full Review Jeff F Really well executed film. The whole film is one take. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/15/23 Full Review xo x This is not for you if you want to be entertained. When it was finished it was like,"what just happened?" It completely took me in. The split screen was brilliant, the acting, directing everything made me feel like I shouldn't be watching this. It was heart retching, desperately emotional and so well done...subject matter all too real. In the end he changed her life without laying eyes on her. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/05/22 Full Review dan b to me it was so boring, like so much wasted film time about nothing, dumb questions over and over, it was like they only had enough money to pay two actors and made up a bunch of stuff, I couldnt get through it Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Film typu przegadany - tylko 2 aktorów i ekran podzielony na pół. Do wielu osób nie przemawia, ale dla mnie mocny i strasznie mi wchodzi na psyche Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review chris d Far from pedestrian, a captivating piece of cinema, a movie that will permantly cycle in my library for decades. Great acting, and love the split screen that didn't ever draw you two directions at once, never too much action in the 2nd view to steal from where the director wanted you to look. One of the few movies to cover this material well in the thousands I've seen in person and on screen. A great piece of cinema that will be remembered as long as I'm alive. Peter Debruge Variety If you're going to make an ultra-low-budget movie that takes place in real time, everything really ought to be planned out meticulously in advance, but there's so much dead space here, and it's unfair to ask composer Adrian Ellis to fill it all... Sep 18, 2020 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film An entertaining ride for horror fans which benefits from great production design, The Call uses its clichés for a purpose and has fun along the way. Rated: 3/5 Jul 19, 2021 Full Review Dennis Harvey 48 Hills This somewhat pedestrian documentary by Jon Brewer doesn't have enough performance footage, and has too much commentary by some questionable experts. Sep 26, 2020 Full Review Sandie Angulo Chen Common Sense Media Intensely personal, evocative drama about suicide. Rated: 3/5 Sep 22, 2020 Full Review Joel Fisher Battle Royale With Cheese The drama never exploits the themes of suicide and grief to manipulate its audience, instead giving a realistic and heart-breaking account of a man whose life is on the line and will stay with its audience long after viewing. Sep 21, 2020 Full Review Kyle Logan Cultured Vultures An impressive piece of ambitious filmmaking and acting that handles the difficult topic of suicidal ideation well, but sometimes veers too far into melodrama.
