'She's an amazing wife': Sarah Murdoch stuns in an elegant white dress at Bondi Icebergs as she and husband Lachlan begin their star-studded three-day 20th wedding anniversary celebrations

They're celebrating a milestone twenty years of marriage. 

And on Friday, Sarah and Lachlan Murdoch began their lavish three-day celebrations, as they joined family and close friends for a party at Sydney's iconic Bondi Icebergs.

Stunning in an elegant white dress on the day, Lachlan, 47, gushed over wife Sarah, 46, according to The Sydney Morning Herald, saying: 'Sarah is an amazing wife.'

Sarah's frock featured a plunging neckline and billowing sleeves. 

She teamed the look with a black belt and clutch, pulling her blonde locks back off her face into a stylish up-do. 

The former model wore a bright red lip and soft and natural-looking makeup which perfectly complimented her stunning looks.

As The Sydney Morning Herald reports, the couple - who tied the knot back in 1999 at the rural NSW family estate, Cavan - were joined by the likes of Erica Packer, Tony Abbott and fashion designer Collette Dinnigan at the bash. 

Ryan Stokes and wife Claire, and former politician Joe Hockey also attended the swanky shindig. 

The publication reports that the family will be heading to Cavan to continue celebrations, with family patriarch Rupert Murdoch, 88, and wife Jerry Hall, 62, believed to be attending.

'With the Murdochs, the family always comes first,' a 'friend' of the family told the publication. 

They added: 'No matter what dramas or power struggles are being played out, the business is very separate to the family.' 

Sarah and Lachlan are based in Los Angeles with their family, sons Kalan, 14, Aidan, 12, and daughter Aerin, eight.

The TV presenter and former Australia's Next Top Model host previously gushed about her family to The Daily Telegraph back in 2010. 

'It's [about] finding a balance. You don't feel right if you haven't been around your kids enough so, despite things being full-on at the moment, I try not to spread myself too thin,' she said at the time.

'I love doing the school run, sitting in the park – normal stuff. I try to be in the moment as much as I can.'
