True Labradors have been breeding Labrador Retrievers since 1995.  We DNA test to identify and eliminate the top ten issues Labradors our known to either suffer from or have issues with. (Paw Prints Genetics) We take great care to use tested parents Certified through OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) We offer a health guarantee and breed for the Labrador Retriever Standard. We match parents with all these factors in mind giving you the best chance at a healthy puppy. Visitors are welcome with restrictions to protect puppies. Check out our:

Some good news. Ruby was bred with Red Cash Monday the 29th. I believe June 25th is a target date for Ruby/ Cash puppies. Mia/ Tango puppies expected next week on May 7th give or take a day or two.  Also, Toko/ Max puppies are due about May 25th. Roxy is up next and should cycle in May. We have another possible mom, but I don't want more than two litters at a time. Many factors go into consideration when breeding and I only breed when its right. Considering we could have two more litters this year. I think we look good for 2024. The waiting list will go quickly and I'm sure I'll be back to advertising extra puppies. For new customers I believe you're looking at summer and maybe late summer for a puppy. Abby a beautiful girl. She has a very light creme color coat, and she should come into season in mid-summer, August at the latest. I'll keep you updated on this page as things develop. I do my best to predict litters and breed for preferences of those on the waiting list. Stop by and meet dogs, it is the best way to get an idea of what your puppy is likely going to look like and to appreciate the calm temperament of the English. There is always more to talk about, if your serious call and speak with Gene or stop by.

The deposit waiting list and pricing information are available through this link.                                        The deposit waiting list will go quick. To lock in your place in line leave a deposit. For more information, visitors can check the                                            link or contact Gene. You are welcome to come visit and meet the dogs, I'm sure they will love to see you.

American Vs English

I get this question a lot. I thought I would add this section in hopes of being helpful. Most Labrador Retrievers being offered here where I live are the American Labrador. I always like to start with: "There is only one Labrador Retriever Standard" That is the English Labrador Retriever. Technically there is no "English" just "Labrador Retriever".  This is a common way to describe the two differences in the Labrador Retrievers. The "American" is a watered-down version with a purpose. With that said the American Labrador has a very important place and Job. If you're looking for a higher energy and more agile dog the American is likely what you want. If you're looking for a more even temperament and not as excitable with the traditional look of the thick bone structure, blocky head then you're wanting the English. I recommend you do your own research and ask lots of questions to make sure you get a good fit in your next companion. There is also a middle category of field dogs that also compete in the show ring. These are not as common anymore and use to be they were sought after with credentials both in the field and show ring, most are either or.

THE LABRADOR RETRIEVER

The Labrador Retriever is one of many breeds of the Retriever hunting type. Extremely loyal and intelligent, Labradors are one of the most popular pet breeds in numerous countries, including the United States. While they still serve the purpose for which they were initially bred, which is retrieving small, downed waterfowl, they are adept at many other jobs including leading the blind, acting as hearing dogs, and police and military work.  Their kind nature, obedience, and knack getting along with children also gives them the reputation of being the ideal pet.
