Krakow is a very interesting city steeped in history. The old town is a wonderful place to stay. The Wasel Cathedral is awesome as well as the many other churches in the area. The underground museum is very interesting.

It is surrounded by a lovely park, where one can relax, read, go cycling. Well preserved buildings and some churches all around old town. There are souvenir shops, restaurants and horse carriages adding to the local folklore. There is also a big arcade with shops selling mostly amber. In the beginning of June, when I visited the city, there were many tourists in the area(but not so many as to become a nuissance) although the weather was not warm. So, I guess, this is when it is considered a good time to visit and enjoy. The place is easily accessible by tram connections and has a lively atmosphere. It was a positive experience and I would like to visit again sometimes in future, because it is not a small area and one can enjoy more visits.

It looks very austere from outside, but that hides a stunning interior. Well worth the small admission price and you could easily spend an hour or more looking round.

This is a great museum, lots to see. Great photo-ops. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because of the difficulty acquiring tickets. Everything I read said but in advance, tickets all times but trying to buy on the website did not work. Ended up making an international call to be told you can’t buy ahead from USA ( would have been nice if it were listed on site) the person on phone did direct me to RESERVATIONS - which Americans can do in advance, then you pick up at reservation desk and pay on-site day of visit.

This was an awesome experience. Really easy to book. There were three of us in our late forties a d we were teamed up with three younger women and together opted for the green version. There was physical contact, but nothing too rough and I would describe it as being man handled rather than being grabbed. They had a little electricity wand which was scary, but I don’t think they actually used it on anyone. The whole thing takes place in almost complete darkness and you have to crawl and climb at certain points so there is a risk of injury but we were fine. Be prepared to get close to your team-mates. It’s surprising how little you care about personal space when you think someone is chasing you with a chain saw. Hubby seemed to like it though - like I said - we were teamed up with some nubile younger women! Apologies to one of them as I thought it was his arse I was smacking in the crawl tunnel and not hers. Highly recommended.

A really beautiful visit which is enthralled in history. I it is a good idea to read up about it before visiting to really understand the context. Would highly recommend having a look round here. Highly worth a visit. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing place. We advice every visitor in Krakow to give themselves this experience.

Our guide Mr. Pawel Król was a true gent, was witful and gave us an unique insight in how to be blind.

Only advice - tale a shower before - cuz the blinds smelling sense are incredible and Krakow is warm.
