The Bachelorette star Brooke Blurton hits back after being shamed for wearing a G-string bikini: 'I'm so sick of being told what to do'
Former Bachelorette Brooke Blurton has lashed out after being criticised for wearing revealing G-string bikini bottoms at the beach.
The 27-year-old said she was 'so sick of being told what to do' by 'entitled' trolls who feel they have the right to comment on how other people dress.
'I hate when I'm made to feel like s**t. I love the ocean, love spending time in the ocean, and I'm sick of people making me feel like s**t for doing things I love,' she said in a series of videos posted on Instagram Stories on Thursday.

One troll had suggested Brooke's choice of skimpy swimwear was 'letting down' other Aboriginal women.
'The comment for me was screaming internalised misogyny and a very old way of thinking. But the thing is I never want to let down any young Aboriginal girls,' the reality star responded.
'And for me, I'm always about just promoting a positive, healthy lifestyle and relationships and trying to be the best role model I can be.'
A defiant Brooke said she wouldn't let trolls on Instagram make 'me feel like s**t for doing things I love'.

She concluded: '[Some people] feel entitled to everything of my life. You're not. I'm a f**king stranger to you. I'm so sick of being told what to do.'
Brooke had posted the photo of herself at the beach on Monday.
The image showed her wearing a beanie and hoodie over a G-string bikini, as she stood facing away from the camera and glanced over her shoulder.
'A happy little beach bum,' she wrote in the caption.

It comes after Brooke revealed her dating hopes following her split from Darvid Garayeli, her winning suitor from The Bachelorette.
'I'm not giving up on love just yet... I feel like that journey is still an open door,' she told TV Week in March.
Although she stayed tight-lipped about her ex, the former youth worker said she had used her complicated break-up as inspiration for self-growth.
'I think I've come out of this a much more confident version of myself and realising that I need to really take the time to incorporate a bit more self-love,' she said.
'Maybe something will happen around the corner, but I'm not putting so much pressure on myself [to find love].'
