Actor Kim Min Ho, who celebrates his 10th anniversary since his debut this year, attended Anyang High School and gained acting experience as a supporting actor from his sophomore year in high school.
In 2013 he officially started his acting career through the tvN drama Monstar.
The film Swing Kids is the work that started to make the face of actor Kim Min Ho known to the public.
Released in 2018, the film Swing Kids depicts the story of a dance group formed in the Geoje POW Camp in 1951 during the Korean War.
Kim Min Ho played the role of Shaopang, a Chinese prisoner of war who suffered from malnutrition, and actively showcased his comedic acting skills.
In 2021, he drew attention by appearing as a couple with Kim Hye Sun, who is older than him, in the drama Revolutionary Sisters.
Playing the role of Byeon Gong Chae, Kim Min Ho encounters Kim Hye Sun, who portrays the troublemaker eldest daughter Taeng Ja, and they spend time together, often bickering, as the restaurant owner and part-time worker.
However, one day, Kim Min Ho discovers that Kim Hye Sun, the restaurant owner, was his first love from seven years ago, and they form a harmonious family with their daughter Ttugi, who was born then.
In the drama, the age difference between the two characters is 28 years; in reality, the two actors have a significant age difference of 20 years.
Last year, Kim Min Ho gained significant recognition with his appearances in the works New Recruit and 6/45.
In the Netflix series New Recruit, Kim Min Ho portrayed the immature private Park Min Seok and displayed exceptional acting skills.
Additionally, in the film 6/45, he played the role of Corporal Bang Cheol Jin in the North Korean Army.
He will be appearing in the new Netflix series “Doona!” scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.
The drama “Doona!” tells the story of an ordinary college student, Won Jun, who meets Doona, a retired K-pop idol, in a share house and unfolds a romantic story.
In the drama, Kim Min Ho is expected to play the role of Kook Su Jin, a fan of former girl group member Doona and a friend of Lee Won Jun.
