Montgomery serves as the host of Kennedy on the Fox Business Network (Monday- Thursday 7-8 PM/ET) and occasionally hosts Outnumbered on the Fox News Channel (weekdays 12-1 PM/ET) and is a regular panelist on the network’s program The Five. Prior to these roles, she served as the host of MTV’s now-defunct weekday late-night alternative-rock shows Alternative Country for most of the 1990s.
Kennedy previously worked for KFI AM 640 in Los Angeles where she served as the host of a nightly political talk show. She also hosted a Game Show Network’s Friend or Foe in 2002 and in 2003 hosted a Who Wants To Be Governor Of California.
Prior to this, she worked for MTV News where she served as a correspondent where she enclosed several events including Video Music Awards as well as the Grammys. During her tenure at MTV News, she also served as the host of a series by the name of How-To With Kennedy. She began her journalism career in 1992 at MTV VJ. Kennedy went to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she attained her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She is a triathlete!
