• Katharine McPhee posted a stunning bikini photo on Instagram, showing off her killer abs.
  • She blamed her husband, David Foster, for posting the photo.
  • Her caption mocked an earlier viral bikini photo posted by Kim Kardashian.

Katharine McPhee, one of America's Idols, is now an Instagram legend. The singer and actress posted a bikini photo on social media today that not only showed off her killer abs, but also poked fun at Kim Kardashian.

While on vacation in the Maldives, Katharine posed in front of a mirror wearing a black and floral print bikini. She captioned the photo: "David posted this while playing games on my phone. Not sure why or how he chose it but I’m not complaining."

The caption nods to a viral 2015 Kim Kardashian bikini pic where the reality TV star wrote, "North posted this while playing games on my phone. Not sure why or how she chose it but I'm not complaining! LOL I deleted it so now reposting it myself! #FBF from 10 years ago."

Katharine tagged both her husband David Foster and Kim Kardashian in her abs-bearing photo.

As much as the internet (including myself) loves a good social media troll, the real star of the post was Katharine's abs.

So, what's her secret? Strength training. According to SELF, Katharine works with trainer Simon Carter three or four times a week for hour-long workouts.

The singer explained that her trainer tries to sneak strength training into all of her runs. "We’ll run and we’ll, like, in the middle of each intersection do, 20 push-ups or 20 jump squats, and then start running again, and go for four or five miles," she said.

Katharine's latest pics prove those miles are definitely paying off.
