GH Spoilers: Sonny Threatens Peter For Jason’s Death

GH Spoilers Highlights

Peter August may be in tons of trouble with the law, but that doesn’t stop the son of Faison from making threats. Only problem is, he’s threatening someone who doesn’t fear him one little bit. In fact, Sonny Corinthos tells him that he killed Jason Morgan, so all rules go out the window. If Peter’s smart, he should be scared.

Sonny doesn’t even know he has trouble brewing on another front. Willow Tait overheard about his love with Nina Reeves and she acknowledges that she knows the truth now to Nina. So what is Willow going to do with this volatile secret she has? Nina asks Willow for a favor. Will the younger woman be in any mood to help her former nemesis out?

For The Love of Liam

Gladys Corbin laments her past transgressions. She talks with Carly Corinthos, of all people, about what is going on and her fears for her new grandson. Carly knows how Gladys tries harder than most to get what she wants and she bets she’ll stop at nothing to make sure her grandson survives this ordeal.

Meanwhile, Michael Corinthos Quartermaine offers support to Brando Corbin and his former flame, Sasha Gilmore. And it’s not even remotely awkward that their son’s middle name is Michael — cause it’s after her ex’s grandfather, not her ex, right? Sure. Brando lets Michael know that they have something to ask him.

Words of Warning

Maxie Jones, fresh off her confrontation with Peter, heads to talk with Austin Gatlin-Holt about his interaction with Peter. She lets him know she wishes he hadn’t done that and she has a very good reason. He’s now on psycho Peter’s radar and so Maxie warns Austin he could be in danger if Peter finds a way to lash out.

Martin Grey has his own words of warning to give to his dear half-sister, Laura Collins. She may be worried about Port Charles, but he tells Laura that this too shall pass — but not if she does something stupid. Has he just met her? Good luck stopping her, Martin.

I think Violet was up next with demands about where her Mommy is and a disgruntled tabloid writer who was shafted out of his unemployment benefits when the Raider went under also wants a word.

Meanwhile, Michael Corinthos Quartermaine offers support to Brando Corbin and his former flame, Sasha Gilmore. And it’s not even remotely awkward that their son’s middle name is Michael — cause it’s after her ex’s grandfather, not her ex, right? Sure. Liam's middle name is "Mike" (not Michael) according to each time his name is stated.

Brando lets Michael know that they have something to ask him. My guess, to be Liam's godparent (godfather).  Will Willow be asked to be godmother? Probably.

About Willow who overheard Nina/Sonny re: their love for each other in Nixon Fall's.  It was a private conversation (naturally with the Chapel door wide open) and if I were Willow, I would just mind my own business and forget I heard anything.  In the end, I imagine, Willow will keep Nina's secret...for now.

Michael is Wiley's dad.  Willow and Michael entered into a fake marriage for the sake of keeping Wiley away from Nelle and Willow legally adopted Wiley.  But she and Michael don't have a baby together.  Correct, at least not in the biological sense of the word.

Families as you well know are made up of all sorts of circumstances.  True, Willow and Mikey don't have a bio child together.  Just like all these years, Mikey is not Sonny's bio son (he's AJ).  Sonny loves Joss like a daughter, but her bio dad is Jax.  And the list goes on and on.  So for the sake of the show, there will always be "families" that extend well beyond the scope of "bio". 

The viewers are invested (or not) in these families or at least we are expected to be same.

As for the character of Willow herself, she's becoming increasingly annoying to me.  I hope the writers give her a few "meaty" lines of script; some S/L where an actress can actually act and not just stand around being "Joan of Arc".  Oh well, hope springs eternal.

@mysoutherncomfort , my biggest gripe was Michael telling Drew that he and Willow have a child together.  The way it came out made it seem as if she gave birth to Michael's baby. 

Maybe it bugged me because I already can't stand her.  LOL

Why is Nina still around with that sad, mopey face all the time?

In the grand scheme of things, neither Sasha or Brando are anything to her.  Show up, tell them you wish them and their baby the best and move on.  Why would she spend every waking moment at the hospital?

Why would she not just walk away anytime she sees anyone from the Corinthos clan within sight?  Instead, she awkwardly hangs around and ends up in an even more awkward conversation because she doesn't have the sense God gave a goose.  FTLOG Walk away!!!!

Why would the door to the chapel have remained open?  Isn't it a swing door?  It should have automatically closed when Sonny came in.  But nope.  You could see it was propped open.  Then when Sonny left, the door closed all the way.  Details GH.  Details.      

As an aside, I saw a video Ingo Rademacher put out there officially announcing his departure from GH due to the vaccine mandate.  He was perturbed that Nancy made the announcement before he ever had a chance to and said he would address Nancy later.  LOL

     Exactly my thoughts!!  She is now a cartoon of her character...whiny, over acting and frankly, boring!

There are so many unnecessary characters among this cast.  Ninny is just a pathetic soul who should have been gone after the Nixon Falls debacle.   Her whining grows more annoying by the day.

I suppose Petey will try to one up Sonny by saying he'll tell Carly about Ninny, however, I doubt Sonny will back down.  Is it too much to hope that Sonny eliminates him???  Let's hope it's a slow and torturous process!!!

Ok, if they insist on keeping the teens on screen, PLEASE eliminate Esme!!!  GH doesn't need a reboot of Nelle.  If they intend to keep Spencer then use him in the scheme of things that are Cassedine related.  And, this "getaway" weekend should just be dropped; totally unnecessary.  There are so many better options to choose from.

As much as it would be nice for Sonny to eliminate Peter, all Sonny knows how to do is threaten.   As a mob boss he is as effective as the PCPD is at fighting crime.  The only ones who will suffer from a slow and torturous process is we, the viewers, watching any attempt at killing Petey take place and him easily getting away once again.
