Arnold Schwarzenegger's company is being sued for over $1 million after his son was involved in a nasty car accident.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the former governor's son -- Joesph Baena -- allegedly crashed into another driver on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles causing injury to the other driver. The person filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Courts following the accident and is seeking over $1.5 MILLION in damages.

Interestingly, the person added "Oak Productions" as a defendant in the case -- which is a company owned by the 'Terminator' star. If you have been living under a rock, Joesph is the love child Arnold fathered with his family's housekeeper, Mildred Baena. Following the publication of the situation, Arnold and his longtime wife Maria Shriver divorced.

Following the split, Arnold and Joseph have enjoyed a close relationship -- posting items on social media of them working out together and the actor attending his college graduation.

At this point, it's unclear if Arnold's company is connected to the car in any way, via insurance or ownership of the vehicle. But, obviously, the person suing is dragging Arnold into this case.

As for the accident, the lawsuit claims it happened on April 5, 2021, on the 405 freeway near the 90 freeway in Culver City, CA.

"At said time and place, the defendants, and each of them, so negligently and carelessly entrusted, managed, maintained, drove or caused to be driven their certain 2018 Jeep Wrangler, so as to proximately cause their vehicle to collide with the 2019 Audi QB, owned and operated by plaintiff, thereby causing the hereinabove described injuries and damages," the filing states.

The person claims Joseph was following too close and crashed into his car while traveling at an unsafe speed. The documents specifically state the driver believes Baena was breaking the law on both accounts. It's unclear if Baena was ticketed by law enforcement for either infraction.

Now, the other driver says he has "sustained personal injuries as a direct and proximate result of the negligence and carelessness of defendants, and each of them, all of which injuries have caused and continue to cause plaintiff great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering. Plaintiff is informed and believes and thereon alleges that his injuries will result in some permanent disability to him."

The damages are huge in this case. The driver is seeking $650,000 in general and special damages, along with another $1 million for punitive damages. Obviously, Baena's insurance company will be involved in defending him in this case -- but, we are guessing he is unable to settle for numbers this high. On the other hand, his famous father is now dragged into this case, and he has plenty of money.
